There is a big difference between overweight and OBESE. I don't think some people are understanding that. The women posted with their stomachs pratically
dragging on the floor...lol, someone wants to argue that it's healthy?
When you get a certain percentage of fat in your body, it starts to interfere with your organs. Especially for women, the fat is no longer contained in just the outer part, it's now all squished in vital organs. That's why it's so dangerous for obese women to have children, things don't fuction as they would otherwise. The human body was not made to contain that much excess. You cannot be obese and be heatlhy. There isn't any way around that. Obesity is somewhat of a disease these days. Yeah, you can be overweight and healthy, that's a proven fact. I'm pretty sure most everyone is aware of that.

Man some of you are so dumb it's almost embarassing. Studies have proven, and it's been taught in science classes, you can be "overweight" and be healthy. You can run longer than a "skinny" person and have overall better health even if you are "over weight" "Overweight" is far from the same as "morbidly obese". "Obese" by definition is unhealthy: Obesity is a condition in which the natural energy reserve, stored in the fatty tissue of humans and other mammals, is increased to a point where it is associated with certain health conditions or increased mortality. |

Yes, rewarding people for an unhealthy lifestyle is always the "right thing to do." The super skinny and the obese fall in the same category for me,
self-depreciating behavior that leads to an unhealthy lifestyle.
You need to face reality, nature has an affect on humans whether you like it or not. Men will be attracted to women that appear fertile and healthy to ensure him the offspring will be the the healthiest human. Biology, it isn't kind to fat asses.

I think people are really confused or just misinformed as to what qualifies as OBESE. You do not have to be really huge to be clinically obese. A person
standing 5 ft 5 inches and weighing 158lbs is classified as overweight.
A person 5 ft 5 inches and weighing 180 pounds is classified as OBESE. You don't have to be 5'5" and weighing 200+ pounds before you are obese. Most of the woman shown are MORBIDLY OBESE and are ticking time bombs for major health crisis. Noboby wants to offend anybody but overweight and obese are clinical terms to describe people with certain characteristics who are greater risk for diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, bone/joint problems, heart attack, etc! None of these things is beautiful or sexy and we can get mad all we want but it won't change the real issue: health. Saying obese is beautiful is just a way for us to make ourselves feel better about the state of our lives. Trust me, I am not a small girl bitching about big girls. I stand 5'5" and 155 lbs so I am classified as overweight. However, I am working out and eating healthier because I want to live longer. I don't want to be sick. I don't want to make excuses for being lazy and eating crap. The better I treat my body - the better it will treat me - the better my mind. Period. While we should not !!$% on obese/morbidly obese people - we should not praise their physical stature either. |

This thread is going somewhere I didn't intend due to an influx of trolls and internet bitchess. I thought we could agree to disagree but the lack of
knowledge, openess to a difference in opinions, and assumptions based on "smelly fat people" is becoming rediculous. I'm moving on.

and if i wanted to be just as much of an ass, i could say "a man
doesn't want to be broken by his woman." i'm sure you don't appreciate a comment like that, so how about not saying something equally
sh***y.
Also, she's probably the same
level of healthy in both.
