Royal icing help.
I can do a royal icing but it never, I mean never looks like the cookies on Pinterest or I have seen children bring into school professionally done bought for three bucks a cookie.
Anyone have the perfect recipe where the consistency is right. I tried doing the piping but it didn't stick to the cookie, it was too hard I guess, and broke off a couple of times while I was outlining. Then I tried the flooding and I had to put them in the oven to harden. The texture of the icing isn't like cookies I have seen. I have seen cookies where the finished icing is like a chalk texture, mine is still rather soft when I do it.
I use the cream of tartar and the meringue powder. Not sure. I need 90 for the 18th
