I just went to IMDB to see what George Clooney has been up to lately. His movie 'Gravity' is out in October. According to IMDB, the budget was $80,000,000!

How do studios make a decent profit off a movie with such a high budget? Especially now, when so many people have stopped going to the theaters altogether.
From the trailer, the cinematographic (did I just make that up?
) technology looks so cool; I'd love to see 'the making of/behind-the-scenes' footage.
