Model Chrissy Teigen and her musician beau John Legend will apparently tie the knot in Lake Como this September.
A source told the New York Post that the Manhattan-based couple decided on the romantic Italian destination because 'that's where they fell in love.'
In an interview with Showbiz Tonight this April Miss Teigen, 27, refused to say exactly where her wedding would take place but admitted that 'we're going to make people trek somewhere.'
The newlyweds will then jet off to the Maldives, where they got engaged in 2011. 'We are returning to the Maldives during our honeymoon,' the brunette beauty told People magazine at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami this weekend.
While being quizzed on Showbiz Tonight Miss Teigen revealed that she had chosen a 'soft and gorgeous' Vera Wang gown after her superstitious fiance accidentally caught a glimpse of her first choice.
'John is very weird about [the dress],' she said. 'He doesn't want to know a thing. He actually opened up my laptop one day and it was the first thing he saw and I completely changed the dress after he saw it.' She continued: 'It's very important that it's a secret.'
And as far as food is concerned, the model is planning on serving up 'very rustic' fare. That would include her unconventional wedding cake, which she describes in the interview.
'My cake is very important to me because I don't like sweets,' she said. 'So. . .What I'm going to do is a crepe cake, which is like hundreds of crepes stacked on top of each other with pastry filling and raspberry sauce.'
Miss Teigen, whose mother is Thai and father is Norwegian, has been dating Mr Legend, 34, for five years after meeting on the set of one of his music videos in 2007.
The model said that he was the one to hit on her first. 'It was all him,' she said with a laugh, adding: 'Well, I was in my underwear!
'And that's why I'm a little worried when he has his own videos to shoot now,' she added. 'I'm like, "You going to find someone else to marry?"'
