duhawkgrl, yay for you!!! I know avoiding spoilers may be an exercise in futility especially since it's showing at BBCAmerica on Saturday at 2:50pm ET/1:50pm CT AND on Saturday, too there's a DW 50th LIVE pre-show at 2:30pm. I might end up becoming weak with all these temptations, Here's the BBCA schedule everyone! FRIDAY Nov 22 8:00PM Doctor Who: Explained FRIDAY Nov 22 9:00PM An Adventure in Space and Time FRIDAY Nov 22 11:00PM An Adventure in Space and Time SATURDAY Nov 23 6:00AM Doctor Who: Explained SATURDAY Nov 23 2:30PM Doctor Who 50th Live Pre-Show SATURDAY Nov 23 2:50PM Doctor Who: The Day Of The Doctor SATURDAY Nov 23 7:00PM Doctor Who: The Day Of The Doctor SUNDAY Nov 24 8:00PM The Eleventh Doctor
The bolded ones are the first airings of the new specials and the others are repeats. Here is the entire schedule for anyone planning on doing a BBCAmerica Doctor Who marathon: http://www.bbcamerica.com/doctor-who/schedule/
We're supposed to be getting some ice in the next few days. Since I am watching it out-of-town, I hope it won't be on Monday at all or I will become that cartoon character shaking its fist towards Mother Nature,

There's one very near me (seriously, just 10 minutes down the road) on Monday the 25th, but I hate weekday stuff when I have to work the next day (though I did see STID on a Wednesday night). I think I'll just livestream it or catch it later. Though, 3D would be cool!ETA: Oh wait, I see it. YUCK. I hate Cinemark, and I wouldn't wanna drive to Plano anyway. Good thing it's sold out.
Didja think I was lying? .
It's annoying that they had to choose rich-people-live-here Plano, . They could have chosen Dallas or Fort Worth. Anyway, only for Doctor Who would I have sucked it up and driven an hour to see it but as eagle-eyed as I was over ticket-watching, it still got sold out. It's probably a good thing because bad weather is predicted for the weekend. I just really hope that the ice and sleet would be done by Monday. I could easily watch it in my local theater less than 10mins away but my neice wants to see it too. I hope the freeways aren't too horrid on Monday afternoon because I have a few overpasses to drive thru to get to her house and it's an hour away. This poorly scheduled wintery mess is making me rethink my plans of not watching it on the BBCA tonight just in case Monday leaves us DFW folks stranded,

I actually squealed when I turned on my laptop and saw the Google page and played with that for awhile, .
The other night, my non-Whovian friends overseas were emailing about their Catching Fire love. They know I loved the books(well, except for book3) but I was explaining how I was more excited and giddy about The Day Of The Doctor. For so many years, I have been explaining to them my DW love/obsession and how it's a UK national treasure. I was telling them how DW's 50th is a HUGE deal too. So happy Google provided the visual aids to further strengthen my point, . Can you imagine how crazy the spoilers will be?
