Katie Couric‘s talk show has been officially renewed for a second season.
Disney-ABC Domestic Television announced earlier today (January 30) that the journalist’s syndicated daytime show Katie will remain on its existing stations for another season.
“Hosting, producing and launching a show from scratch has been challenging but very rewarding,” Katie said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to working with our terrific team to build on the success of our first season and continuing to share compelling stories, explore important topics, and create entertaining television for our audience.”
Launched in September 2012, Katie attracted around 2.5 million viewers daily.
