Most of the comments in threads like these come from people who have never owned a pet in their life. And IMO these people need to sit down and shut up or educate themselves a little, especially the ones that are always THE BREEDS ARE EVIIILLLLLLL. Like whitgrl. Cause her mama got attacked by a pitt once all the sudden they are all evil and deserve to die. GTFO here with that shit.

But then get called bad owners if they had bad experiences with the said breed. People who take the stance that all X dogs are evil because I had a bad experience are wrong. But so are those of you who take the stance that all animals are gentle and sweet unless some evil owner made them otherwise. They're both ridiculous stances to take.

blairboy wrote:I've never taken that stance with breeds. The majority of time when you hear about dogs attacking other dogs or going after kids it's because the owners were morons. Every-now and then it's a family dog that was raised right and shit just happens. I think one happens more than the other mind you, but shit still happens. As Sha said these posts bring out the morons. And the reason I said she was a shitty owner was because she raised a supposed mean/bad dog and now thinks all the breeds are evil.

Newsflash, pit bulls are not born as vicious creatures; they are raised to be such by disgusting owners. I'm not at all surprised someone like you would make that remark as your posts seem more ignorant every single day. You need to start educating yourself before you continue to make comments based on so-called facts you seemingly pull out of thin air. I'm really glad the kitten is okay. I hope the dogs are taken to a rehabilitation shelter to get the help they obviously need. I also hope the owner of the dogs is located and investigated.

I don't care about other owners. I think it's flat out retarded to label them all evil based on your shitty experience. End of story. And with enough training and patience you can absolutely control how your dog acts outside. Sometimes, yes...shit happens. Can go either way, but I don't believe it's 50/50.

It's an image and a status thing. You can imagine that this type of idiot is NOT a responsible owner, and you can also imagine that this type of idiot is not exactly going to go pick a cute looking labrador for the purpose. No, they're going to pick exactly the type of dog that people are already wary of and associate with aggression, they're going to teach the animal to live up to the stereotype, and in doing so they're going to perpetuate the stereotype. Of course there are bad owners of every breed and aggressive dogs amongst every breed, but some breeds unfortunately attract this type of aggression teaching more than others.
