I'm attempting to rewatch all the seasons, doubt I will make it through them all cuz I'm still on season 1 lol. I watched the birthday episode where stefan was putting on his shirt and I remember coming in here and commenting and most people swooning lol. Oh how times have changed lol. I'm torn, i started liking stefan, but now I like damon. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the new season.

I just started season 2, where Katherine states she never loved Damon and Elena said the same thing. I feel so bad for Damon. He spent 145 years loving a woman that was playing him all along. I just want to cuddle him and tell him everything will be better.

Sure she'll end up with him at some point, hopefully. But it seems quite predictable on the Stefan front since S1 E1. I mean that man has literally pushed, shoved, threatened, blasted, and humiliated her and she still says "I love him, I need him." It seems he could nearly bang a girl in front of her and she'd still swear it's her entire life mission to bow at his feet. I really hope Vamp!Elena will grow more of a backbone, and that her feelings for Damon will intensify to a point to where she can no longer shove it away. But I do not want them to rush to be together. I want it real and if I have to deal with more seasons of SE for it to be realistic, then so be it, nothing new. What I REALLY hope happens this season is Damon gets a new interest that isn't just for using/sex, and Elena becomes truthfully jealous. And I really want Katherine time. I miss that girl. And her banter w/Stefan.

At this stage I find it difficult to want her with either of them, both because they're terrible boyfriends and she's become way too annoyingly "I like whichever one's within shorter distance at the time" . I'm kind of over the triangle, but still looking forward to the other stuff going on with Caroline and Bonnie. I can't wait for Caroline to go postal on Klaus when she realises the Tyler thing. They will do Delena in some form or another. I doubt it will be end game, but there is no way that something won't happen. If only because Julie Plec seems incapable of having Elena just pick one brother and stick to it, any time she gives one pairing a moment she either has to ruin it or give the other one a moment to match as if she can somehow balance the books and keep both sets of fans happy

I'm glad Elijah is back hopefully on a more permanent basis since his other show was cancelled. Rebekkah annoys me with her chipmunk face and the character in general. So seeing as how I haven't been in one of these megathreads/megapost for a while r the east coasters mindful of the west coasters or not? Should i change the first post to reflect it or is what I wrote initally fine?

Does not make sense how Klaus can go from almost having Caroline killed, heck he sent Tyler to bite her then all of a sudden does a180 and has feelings? Just no, and I hate all their scenes too. I actually just really don't like Klaus either. I liked him when he was a bad ass then they soften him up and just don't like it. As far as spoilers people always leave comments after they watch. I'm a west coaster but I usually try & watch with the east coast whenever I can so I don't care.
