i asked them about doing wire transfers and they said I could wire money to someone from my online account and avoid paying the $20 fee. It seemed a little skeptical so I double and triple checked with the associate about this and she kept affirming yes. Then she transfered me to their online banking specialist and she was like "um no that is not possible you have to come in person to do this". Then the online banking specialist added the regular associate to the phone call and the two of them starting ARGUING and yelling at each other on the phone while I was still on the line (and they knew I was still there). It was so unprofessional that I had to listen to them argue for 5 minutes before I got answer. Eventually I just told them snail mailing a check was easiest for me right now and I'm not dealing with this BS anymore. I realize people make mistakes and we're all human but damn when we are talking about time-sensitive money issues they need to be absolutely certain before they tell someone something! UGH.
i hate capital one.
