Posts: 6353 08/08/2012 3:36 PM	The mansion post made me wonder what everyone's dream home would be. I have 3 different dream homes that I would be happy with. The first one is a beautiful Victorian home like the one in Practical Magic. The second would be an Antebellum Home. The third would be a cute little cottage.

Eichler Mid Century Home (really only found in California) Barring the impossible, I would take just about any mid century home...but preferably a bungalow. OR A warehouse loft (with some exposed brick if possible)

Posts: 7935 08/08/2012 5:09 PM	AH! The Craftsman, that's what I went looking for but didn't know the name. And I LOVE that beach house. The home within a home is totally badass, but that's just WAY too many windows for me. I'd like, if I were to have a home like that, have it be a bit more obscure.

Nancy Meyers always has the best homes in her movies (Father of the Bride, Something's Gotta Give, It's Complicated, The Parent Trap, The Holiday). I read an article a few years ago about the movie It's Complicated and the person described Nancy's movies as being home/kitchen porn My dream house would be from the movie Something's Gotta Give.
