Chick Fil A is ridiculous today.

Posts: 625 08/01/2012 1:56 PM	Rode by the free-standing one on my way to the mall and the line was wrapped around the building not to mention all of the other assholes trying to get in and causing a traffic jam. Got to the mall, finally, only to see a line of about 100 people. The chicken is NOT that good people! I don't get it. People on the CFA facebook said they were waiting an hour or more and that it was "worth it". I could understand if it was like, a nice restaurant or something, yeah I can wait an hour or more for that. But not for fast food!!

I was craving waffle fries and decided to go on my lunch break and there was a traffic jam around one so I went to the one in the mall that is never busy and 100 people were standing in line at least so I didn't have time. Ugh I just wanted some fries and a peach milkshake!

Posts: 625 08/01/2012 2:14 PM	I think the whole thing is stupid. I am not Christian and very much in favor of everyone having the right to be with/marry the one they love. Why the hell are the Chick Fil A people and most customers so worried about other people's personal lives? And I still say that the chicken is NOT that good, you can get the very same chicken sandwich from McDonalds, only it's called the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich.

Some public officials have made statements, but I have yet to see any evidence that a government body actually tried to halt the opening of a Chick-fil-A over the opinions of the owner. "Now - incredibly - your company says you are backing out of the same-sex marriage debate. I urge you to back out of your plans to locate in Boston." Menino, noting that some of the first same-sex couples to wed in the country came to the Boston City Hall to get married, said: "It would be an insult to them and to our city's long history of expanding freedom, to have a Chick-fil-A across the street from that spot." *** Urging Chick-fil-A to avoid Boston is hardly the same thing as a government overreach of power silencing Cathy's right to free speech.

The notion that this is about protected free speech is silly.
