But during the school year, I'd say I cry anywhere from 2-8 times a month. sometimes more than that if I'm having a very difficult issue with a student. This past year, I feel like I cried all the time. It was a rough year. This year will be my fourth year teaching so I'm hoping that this year goes more smoothly. I don't think I've got any students with major behavior or emotional challenges like I've had in years past so I'm really optimistic this year!

I cried daily - not at work but at home & I think my work caught on because they pulled strings and let me have my vacation But i've been at my work for over 11yrs so of course ive had many many emotional break downs .. But lately i havent - i fake cry a lot to the kids when they throw toys - because when I fake cry they clean up

I'm usually emotionally okay, it's just a physical release of the stress overload combined with a lack of sleep, food and alone time. Once I have a good sob and a hot shower, I'm good to keep pounding the pavement.

It was when someone lied about how we had handled a situation, and we were getting reamed for it, so I went to my boss and provided proof that the woman was lying, and my boss was pretty much like, "I don't care. Even if this particular situation didn't happen that way, the whole team needs to shape up. This conversation is over." I was so frustrated that I had to step outside, and I was doing okay until someone asked me what was wrong, and then the tears started.

Posts: 8963 07/28/2012 9:34 AM	I thought it meant how often does it make you cry not necessarily cry at work. When I cry, it's at home. At school when I'm really overwhelmed by the kids or other situations I'm able to keep it together but I always take it all home with me. I am a worrier and am always thinking about how I could have done it better or differently. Or what I'm going to do about a certain situation or student. When it gets too much I have a good cry and that helps me just release all that worry and stress.

I was all alone in the back of the store with her and her partner and it scared the shit out of me. After it was over and the adrenaline wore off I got all teary.

Posts: 21091 07/28/2012 10:33 AM Best FanFic Writer '07	I've cried just once about the actual work, feeling overwhelmed/overworked/stressed, etc. But I've cried a few times (a couple of times a year, I guess) about something one of my coworkers said or did. I'm "friends" with my supervisor, and she would tell me some of the stupid shit people have said about me. So yeah, even though I was more mad than sad, I would cry because I couldn't go curse them out for it.
