Amazon has gotten around sales tax laws, because they only have to charge sales tax for states where they have a physical presence. But now that there is a new law requiring online retail to charge sales tax regardless of physical presence. Because of this, Amazon will be expanding their business. They will be increasing their amount of warehouses and will start offering same day shipping.
This is going to have a huge impact on the retail industry.
