Not sure about that, was Brad's wishes to be dragged into this and his PR reps being asked repeatedly for comment? She's his mother, she should see the attention
and dragging in the press they have already and not want to put more on top of that for them.

That could very well have nothing to do with her perspective/opinion on things.  BP knows the media well and knows they're sniffing around for some sordid family drama-- so the best course of action for him and AJ is to say nothing.  Its bad enough that she's being called a c*nt and getting death threats now.  His mother shouldn't have to be silenced simply because her son is famous.  She wrote to the local paper, I'm sure she's involved in the local community as well-- should she sit out and stay home because of who her son is?  No her life goes on.  The media only picked up on this because of who she is and had hoped for some drama.
