Posts: 8360 07/04/2012 2:32 PM	Sometimes I just don't like living in an urban area, don't like the girls in booty shorts, don't like the guys who leer at them. I weigh 115 but always cover up just cause and they still look at me like they've never seen a girl before. if they say "hey beautiful" whatever but the ones who hang out on corners all day just to stare and even say derogatory comments....

I usually wear skirts or loose-fitting pants. Either way, dudes holla at me the same during any/every time of the year. It doesn't matter. I don't live in an "urban" area either.

There is the 'main drag' of that neighborhood that I can't stand walking down during the summer, because it's exactly as you describe: girls walking out half-naked and guys stopping to stare/'holla' at them. 1) I don't like the sidewalk moving at a snail's pace because they are holding up everyone else while they do their mating dance and 2) I get such second-hand embarrasment from walking behind some chick with the bottom of her asscheeks on full display in my face. I unfutunately have to go back to this neighborhood to visit my mother and I hate it so much. I'm SO glad I don't live there now.

I'm in middle of nowhere GA and some guy seriously got upset because I didn't say hi to him, like he's ENTITLED to it. That being said, I was wearing leggings and a flow-y top. Why the hell would I say hi to you, I don't know you. You're nobody to me.

I'm surprised they don't get whiplash by the way they turn their necks to check out all the girls...and they still look back over and over like 2 blocks away from the girl I see this as I have to walk behind the men in the sidewalk. I seriously don't know how some girls do it. It's not just about getting attention, compliments but they can get harassed and sometimes it can be so threatening. I remember being fully clothed with a jacket on in colder weather and one of the guys aggressively coming up to me and right in my ear saying "so do you wanna f*** or what"
