You're next
now she is upset. She said basically that she was just so happy that someone showed interested in taking one of her cats because absolutely NO ONE came forward for 2 months and she's getting to the point where BOTH will have to go to the Humane Society very soon. She then asked me to please take one so both aren't going.

I came on here to share something that made me happy and then when people made me feel like some horrible person, all I said was that I thought I was doing a good thing! SO don't go assuming what I'm looking for because you don't know squat about me ANyhow, I can't make anyone happy it seems because the woman that owns the cats responded to my email last night and now she is upset. She said basically that she was just so happy that someone showed interested in taking one of her cats because absolutely NO ONE came forward for 2 months and she's getting to the point where BOTH will have to go to the Humane Society very soon. She then asked me to please take one so both aren't going. So I can either give this lady some peace of mine and at least take one of her cats, or let her bring both to the humane society and choose another cat there or one of these ones where it's going to cost me around $200. So I think I'll go with what I feel in my heart is right and go meet Avalanche on Sunday. It's too bad that somethng that I was looking forward to has been a bit marred. Next time, I'll keep all my information to myself.

She basically sounds like one of those morons on craigslist who say PLEASE TAKE FLUFFY OR SHE IS GOING TO BE PUT DOWN AT THE END OF THE WEEK on craigslist. Because you are trying to work something out she's getting huffy and saying "okay either take at least one or they're both going to the shelter"? She is supposed to care about these animals that she's had for all of this time and now she's basically ready to throw them away and end their lives just because it's been 2 months and she's tired of dealing with it. I feel bad for the other cat that neither of you want who probably will not see much more of its life thanks to this idiot who can't be slightly more patient. Like someone else said, go to your grandson's home until you can safely place these cats who you SHOULD care about. I can't stand people who take in pets and then just get rid of them because they've become inconvenient. I get it if you need to do it but at least pretend like you care about what happens to them after they leave you. This woman is a piece of work.I know you say you don't have room but I would take both of them and then e-mail this lady and tell her to screw off. And place the other one myself if I didn't think I could handle it.
