But I guess they have to balance out the really good acts or it must just be for tv or something. But most of the finalist I was okay with outside the few waste of space acts.

Posts: 80256 06/28/2012 6:28 PM Madam Irma Pince Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I disagreed with the cannonball, the guy who gets kicked in the nuts, the guy who has a dog with a creepy mask that he uses as a puppet and a bunch of others. I think they only let in the shorter man so Howie could laugh at him some more. I also think they should have let the guy with the light blue contacts who sings opera. I think the judges have horrible taste for the most part. I'm not thrilled this season. There are maybe 5 acts that I really like. I'm just glad it's out of their hands now. I can't remember the exact format of the show, but I'm sure they'll spread out the sucky acts so they can lose one each week without anyone caring. I do remember being pissed in the past when they put all of my favorites against each other in the same week. I hope that doesn't happen this time! I thought they were going to make the daughter drop her father before she moved on. I wonder if that's going to happen in the coming weeks. Is that even allowed? Like if the judges say "you'd go further without your father" can they just split up?

We were so surprised to get good seats, we got there around 430 and waited for about 5 minutes, the AGT people were handing out tickets with happy faces and that meant floor seats. I was literally 5 rows behind Howard. Everyone was yelling out everything, it was hilarious. Maryanne from Brooklyn showed up in a tiara and ball gown basically. Bobo was there, High Pitch Erik (but no one cared), and Medicated Pete (he was following around anyone that showed any interest of Howard Stern-- I think he was hoping they would bring him inside because I didn't see him at all during the taping.) It was so relaxed compared to the auditions, you could bring your phones in, you didn't have to wait in line forever. You just showed your voucher and received a real ticket. I'm going back on the 18th and the 25th. My goal is to some how get a picture with Howard. Oh yea, Lisa G interviewed me, I hope I don't get on because I'm sure I sounded like a real ass. Not sure if these pics will show up because they're from Facebook --

I thought maybe they literally had a hundred guys out there in the 4 minute commercials setting up and demolishing it like maniacs. I wonder what they are going to do with the cannon guy. Was it SO loud in the theater? There were times when I couldn't hear anything being spoken because all of the noise in the background. That might be my TV/cable company, though. The same thing happened during the gymnastics trials the other night. Who does everyone think is going to make it through tonight? I think Howard was right on the money, but based on the "Vegas Act" concept, I don't know if Edon deserves a spot. I think maybe the BMX team would put on a better show. Kids just don't work for me on AGT. Wait a few years and go on American Idol. Jackie Evancho was different because opera is more specific and wouldn't work on AI. David Garibaldi and his team are definitely in my top three, if not my absolute favorite. I'm obsessed with them and I'd love to see them win the whole show. They are pure GENIUS.

I've seen way better speed painters. The BMX guys bore me, honestly. All they do is go back and forth a million times. The girl singer wasn't great. The father/daughter singers were pretty good. The guy who makes the weird instruments was terrible, but the booing and the mean comments from the judges were really horrible to watch. It was very sad. The guy who straps that shit on his dog's face needs to DIAF. The little girl who dances is PRECIOUS. The magicians were good I thought, didn't know why they were booed so much. I love the marching band! The brothers who dance had a few amazing tricks, but the rest was crappy. The dance team is usually great but they disappointed me. I'm bad with names, can you tell?

They are limited in space, but if they had a bigger (permanent) stage somewhere it could have potential. Like if they could ride up and down in the audience or something. Maybe build bridges above the audience, I don't know! Edon is great, but are you going to pay money to see him sing for an hour? Does he even have the pipes to sing for an hour? The future Vegas Act is seriously all I can think of when I watch the show. And where are you seeing all of these other speed painters?! I've never seen one anywhere! Howie was on Today this morning and he couldn't remember the Australian singer's name, either. Don't feel bad! Hey was that dance team on ABDC before? The head guy looked really familiar.
