I don't think so because those soccer/hockey moms probably are already into Twilight. 

It's supposed to be an "erotic" book, and I guess it would be for the more sheltered, which I guess could possibly be where the soccer mom thing comes into play as they're supposed to be straight conservative people.  For those of us around here, it's not erotic.  It's not even soft core porn.  It's just.... I don't know what it is.  I read all three books.  Were they great?  No.  Were they readable?  Yes.  I got sucked in for reasons I still don't even know.  And whoever in this post said it was an easy read is right.  It is.  I have a reading comprehension disability and still managed to read all 3 books within 2 weeks.  Again, it's not well written but it is an easy read.

I think people just need to read it for what it is and ignore it being based off a Twilight fanfic.  Yes, it was based off a Twilight fanfic, but if you don't follow Twilight, you're never going to see the simliarities.  I have seen all the movies but reading these books, nowhere was I thinking about Twilight and it's similarities, because I don't follow it closely enough or care enough to try to compare.
