It's def not a scary/thriller movie, imo. Maybe one jump scene.. maaaybe if you don't know the classic lead up to a 'jump' scene and aren't anticipating it, lol.

She doesn't have a huge role but she has some interesting scenes.

Plot/ending - really detailed & LONG since it's still really fresh in my mind...

Opens with this random human-looking alien at a waterfall as a spaceship flies off, who drinks this goop and he begins to disintegrate and it shows his DNA being blackened and destroyed and he falls apart and into the water. It then shows his DNA rebuilding.

Shaw (Noomi) and Holloway (logan) find a cave drawing and are like zomg.

Fastforward some years and we're on a spaceship (Prometheus). David (Fassy) - who is a drone, btw - is maintaining the ship while the crew of 17 is in hypersleep. He's able to 'see' their dreams. He putzes around, plays basketball, practices languages, watches old movies, bla bla. Then the ship 'arrives' and alarms. He then runs into Vickers (Charlize) who's rather rude to him. Apparently they've been in hypersleep for like 2.5yrs to get to this place.

Apparently this takes place on Christmas as the ships captain sets up a christmas tree, etc. They get a hologram message about their mission from this Weyland dude. Shaw and Holloway give a little speech about how the same drawing was found numerous places, etc and this is the only constellation arrangement that matches and can sustain life (has a Sun, etc) or something. They believe these aliens are their 'Engineers' who created mankind and left this invite to come find them.

Vickers calls them into her cabin which can detach and sustain her for 2yrs or so on her own if shit goes down. She pretty much tells them she's in charge and not to 'talk' to the aliens if they find them, etc.

They find these pyramid like structures and land near them and go out to investigate (duh). One dude tries to bring a gun and they're like 'teehee, no, they're our makers.. they're totes friendly!!'
They send out those little drones that map the area. David is off being smart and hitting 'buttons' (just language written on the walls) and it makes this odd hologram happen showing aliens running and trying to make it into some room. They find an alien body (one didn't make it in) and David manages to open the door. The area inside is filled with vases of goop and a giant sculpture of a head in the middle and murals on the ceiling. The air inside is also now acceptable to breathe unlike the air outside the pyramid/chamber. And the head of the alien body outside the door is inside..

When they find the body - two of the scientists (a geologist and biologist) decide to peace the eff out back to the ship.

this crazy storm starts coming in so Vickers and the Capt demand they get back to the ship or they'll shut em out. They take the alien head and David, sneakily, takes a vase. The 'goo' is slowly becoming more plentiful the whole time they're in there. David notices that it 'moves' but the others don't appear to.

So they get back to the ship but Shaw is dumb and drops the head so she's shut out because she goes after it and Holloway goes after her. They're rescued by David.

Apparently the head is more of a helmet. David removes it (because he knows how..duh) - Shaw has the great idea to send electrical pulses into it and try to make the head think it's alive. It starts wincing and it's veins go black, it starts to swell, etc. It then explodes. Ick.

They test the DNA and it's a perfect match of human DNA. So she's like ZOMG our Engineersss!

David is examining the vase he took and the black 'goo' (which moves/is alive). He then goes to talk to a semi-drunk Holloway and puts a drop of goo into his drink. Mind you, Holloway had made some rather rude comments throughout toward David and how he's 'just' an android and his lack of emotions.

Holloway and Shaw bang - but you see nothinggg except his back for like .2 seconds.

Vickers and the Captain go off to fuck as well (nada shown, just insinuated)

Meanwhile, the two scientists who peaced out after the body were SOMEHOW still in the pyramid. They find more dead alien bodies shoved up against another door into the room. The Captain tells them a drone picked up a lifeform and they freak out and go the other way. They end up in the vase room just hanging out since they have to wait for the storm to pass. The black goo/river on the floor starts moving and this snake/penis looking thing pops up. Since everyone is busy getting laid and hanging out - no one is on the bridge to communicate with these guys about it. It attacks one of the scientists and breaks his elbow and goes into his suit and up by his face and then into/down his throat. When it was going to break his arm, the other scientist tried to cut it off with a knife. It spewed out an acid that melts off his facemask and face. they're dead.

Cut back to Holloway looking in a mirror with bloodshot eyes. he looks closer and this sperm looking thing is crawling on/in his eye. He doesn't say anything and they all head back to the pyramid to rescue the two scientists.

They find the bodies and a snake-alien pops out of the mouth and swims off. Holloway gets worse quick and Shaw screams about how they need to get him back to the ship so they leave the dead scientists and hurry back. Meanwhile David had gone to 'fix' a drone and unlocks yet another room where he plays with buttons and another hologram starts of like a roundtable and solar system with Earth being the main focus. He also finds a hyperspace chamber with an alien in it that's still breathing.

They make it back to the ship and Vickers is like 'if he's infected, he's not coming on board.' Shaw flips out. Holloway is getting super pale with blackened veins (much like the alien in the beginning and the DNA/head one) and ends up sacrificing himself to Vickers who uses a flame thrower and he burns to a crisp.

Shaw wakes up on a med table with David examining her and decontaminating her, etc.. He tells her she's around 3months pregnant. DUN DUN DUN! Shaw can't have babies and they just had sex a few hours before so she's like erm!? David is like duh it's an alien babyyy! She freaks out and he puts her into hypersleep.

She wakes up and beats up some crew trying to help her. Finds a surgery pod and it cuts her open and removes this alien baby. Pretty gnarly awesome graphic scene. It's this squid like thing and she freaks out and locks it in the pod which decontaminates it and kills it. She then runs around the ship rather aimlessly and dramatically.

Captain tells some maintenance dudes to check on the *dead* bodies outside. Turns out its acid-faced scientist back from the dead and pretty angry. It attacks them and the Captain and another go down and flame him dead, again.

Shaw finally runs into a room with David and an old dude who turns out is Weyland who, surprise, was really in hypersleep on the ship the whole time!

Weyland wants to meet the still-breathing alien David found and Shaw is like NO they're DEADLYY then ZOMG OKAY. Weyland and Vickers have this little scene where it turns out he's her Dad. Cool.

they go back into the pyramid and head toward where the alien is. There's thousands more of the goo-ey vases on the way. They take off their helmets (since the air is good) and Shaw mentions how they dont' know how/why Holloway was infected so they should leave them on and David is pretty much like 'no, the air wasn't the problem' wink.

David says that the Engineers were headed to earth but were stopped by this goo. And apparently they were headed to Earth to destroy it (with said goo). But it's a totally great idea to wake this alien up - so they do! And he's pretty angry and kills weyland and this other scientist lady and rips off Davids head (but he's an android, it's cool). Shaw runs away and the Engineer starts readying up his own ship - which is under/part of the pyramid. vickers (still on Prometheus) is like eff this, we're leaving. Part of the Engineer ship is just like one from Alien.

Anyways - Shaw is running and radioing to Prometheus that Engineer ship is going to destroy earth so they need to destroy it! Vickers uses an emergency pod to escape and the Captain and his copilots crash into the Engineer ship and bring it down. Shaw and Vickers are running on the planet trying to escape getting crushed by this giant crashing ship. Vickers doesn't make it.

Shaw then goes to vickers emergency pod and turns out she's not aloneee. Her alien baby is now a huge looking squid. Then Engineer decides to crash their party because he's pretty angry his ship just got destroyed. She manages to get the alien-baby to attack the Engineer and it's a face-hugger just like in Alien. It 'eats' Engineer. Shaw runs off again.

David's head is still alive so he's radioing to her to come help him because there are MORE ships and he can fly them! So if she wants to live she needs him too. So she goes and gets David and he's like okeydokey lets go home and she's like no, I want to go to whatever planet these Engineers came from and find my answers!!

So it shows them in another Engineer(free) ship taking off. Then it cuts back to the Engineer and his chest bursts open to pop out what looks very identical to the alien from Alien. BAM end.

That IMDB thing is rather... intense for a movie. IDK, I dont' read that far into things like this but some of the points were good?
