I know what you mean. That's how I feel about the bugs and motorcycles and stuff too. I hope it gets better. I'm having issues with my neighbors (though they aren't kids) slamming doors and having loud guests over at all hours. I don't get how people can be so inconsiderate and insensitive, adults and kids alike. I will never let any progeny be such a burden or issue to others. Julie, you're a great mom and have the sense to teach them how to be upstanding adults.

I see these kids outside all the time, and I seriously NEVER see adults with them. If I saw an adult nearby at some point, I could maybe speak up and say something. But adults are never present.

You must not have read everything I said.  I don't mind them playing outside, I understand that.  I love kids.  They are getting onto my patio and getting into my stuff there (damaging things or taking them), they are hitting the sides of the building hard enough that they are knocking stuff off my interior walls, and last night I didn't say anything until they had been constantly screaming for nearly 4 hours and it was almost 11 at night.  They were right outside my windows on 3 sides of my apartment. Like, nonstop screaming.

Screaming bloody murder and swears/disgusting language) all day. They stand in front of cars and ride their bikes and skateboards in front of them too. They walk all over the lawn. They've tortured the turkeys and dogs around here, it's horrible. Nothing scares them. All of us have said stuff to them, they don't care. Kids these days are just the worst.

but she already said she doesn't mind kids playing outside.  it's the fact that they're literally screaming, and it's past 10pm at night that she's upset about.  i think her reaction is perfectly reasonable, too.  it honestly amazes me that anyone thinks it's ok to let their kids be that rowdy and disruptive at a time when most people are going to bed.  it's extremely inconsiderate.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was trying to say.  And it was literally screaming.  Not just fun laughing, or even yelling.  They were screaming for nearly 4 hours before I finally asked them to stop.  I'm really not that lady.  I am actually the most patient person with children I know.
