Eight Girls Pull Yearbook Prank

Posts: 13059 06/07/2012 5:45 AM	At my HS and the ones in our area - you had the 'drape' and had to have the pictures taken at this random studio. The yearbook photos all had the same bg but you could order ones w/ a different color.

Posts: 13227 06/07/2012 8:39 AM a sea of emotions	The Senior photos that were in my yearbook & any other I've seen the female students wore the drape & the boys wore a tux. Posts: 9842 06/07/2012 9:53 AM	We had a "recommended" studio but you didn't have to go there. Most people got formal pictures taken and then casual ones too. The yearbook required you to submit the formal one and be wearing black. A lot of people wore the drape but some didn't. I didn't.

In my county students took multiple sets of Sr pictures -- usually 1 formal with a drape and a few casuals in different outfits with fun backgrounds. Our yearbook would only print the formal drape photo. That's the way it worked for most high schools in Georgia.

Posts: 31268 06/09/2012 2:18 AM i am the lizard queen	I know I'm bumping this but I'm really surprised by the drape thing. Did you all go to big schools? Big class sizes? Is this a state thing? I went to school in bumfuck Wisconsin with about 70 kids in our class, but for senior pictures, we all did portraits at different studios. My picture that I submitted was me outside, holding up 2 roses that were red and white (school colors). Of course, my school was cheap ass so all our senior pictures were in black and white, so the whole roses thing was lost. I had a friend who did all her pictures outside during the winter and she wore her mom's wedding dress. Some did pictures in an actual studio with just a backdrop, while others had themes. One girl a grade before me did her picture sitting down in a studio with all her beanie babies around her ().

You had a pic with the drape and then a pic with the cap and gown. In the yearbook, all the girls' pictures were the drape pictures.
