No clue who it could have been, but with the way this show goes, I wouldn't be surprised if the reveal is lame as hell. Alex: Yep, the next episode is episode 5. There are only what, 13 episodes a season? At what point do people stop saying, 'Well, the season just started! Give it a chance!'? We're already a third of the way through and I can't think of one thing that happened that's worth caring about. I'mma need something really epic to happen really soon. I'm talking Rev Steve/Jason hookup sort of epic. Even Lala is starting to bore me, which is terrible because I think he's nothing short of fantastic. Usually.

For the last few seasons, it seems as though they spend 9 episodes moving at a snail's pace, accomplishing nothing before finally kicking into gear the last two or three episodes of the season, just in time to keep people hanging after the finale. Not to mention Sookie, who is supposed to be our beloved heroine, is so unlikable now that I don't think she'll ever be able to redeem herself in my eyes. And because she's the main character, we all know she could flat-out murder someone in cold blood and still suffer no consequences. Oh wait, that's already happened... Maybe I wouldn't mind so much if TV!Sookie was as cool and kickass as book!Sookie. But she's not, so the way she has everyone jumping to her defense and cleaning up her messes does nothing but piss me off. She doesn't deserve friends like the ones she's got. At all. /rant JCPC42 - Seriously, that pairing alone would make the show a million times better than it is now.

Everyone else can go home now. Although Eric's deadpan killed me: "New York City smells like pee and the people are rude." Ultimately, though, my heart lies with Russell. Even if he'll most likely be a goner by the end of the season. And I could be wrong, but I'm totally calling Salami or whatever her name is as the one who dug up Russell.
