It's almost like the "old" Tumblr now. But Tumblr just finally came around to being popular, and I think there are more functions with LJ that keep it in existence. It's not about being a literal "live journal" anymore. I use it. I love it. Mainly for ease of use and communication. It's been around so long it WORKS and hardly has problems (I find). Do I use it as a journal anymore? F' no. I signed up for that when I was like, 12, and continued as briefly as I did with my actual journals (for about a week then stopping). It just happened to develop into another more "news" reporting type source so... I've been following random crap since (from Twitter though, even though that might sound odd ). Point being, I really like LJ and it most definitely serves its purpose, but it's evolved throughout the years. Totally different from how it was when I first signed up.

Posts: 16399 05/26/2012 7:44 AM	Nah I stopped using it for journal updates some time ago. I mean most people left it or stopped reading them anyways. But I now use it just to follow a couple communities in my favorite fandoms to stay update on what's new going on in them or to read the live TV discussions of each episodes of shows I watch.
