Not from parents, no. Most parents of my students aren't even aware of their grades, but those who are work with me to help the student learn the material and remediate or accept responsibility for poor choices in class. There are a couple of exceptions, though. Generally it's the administration yelling at me because of a student's grades, asking if I've bent over backwards for the student.
