I haven't done it since then but I like the security in knowing that I don't need to worry about going over the limit. I never use wi-fi because it kills the battery and my phone is pretty shitty when it comes to battery life. Btw what does this mean to unlimited texting? Because my unlimited data plan came with unlimited messaging as well.

I'm grandfathered with AT&T. I'd be pissed if they suddenly took it away, but I wouldn't be shocked at all.

They suck at times, but I have unlimited data/talk/text & no contract (Samsung phone w/ android) ($50 a month). No matter how bad the service sucks sometimes, I will never deal with another "contract" company again.

My calls drop often, but other then that, it's a decent phone company to go through.

I get great service where I am, have no issues with dropped calls, no signals, etc. and, unlike most other carriers, they don't "slow down" my speed or whatever when I use a lot of data. And I use a lot of data. I get free mobile to mobile calls (so basically, I use like NO minutes each month) and yeah, we have truly unlimited data. I used to be on AT&T and loved them for years, but then they changed a bunch of shit and started screwing everyone over, so we switched to Sprint. Have been with them for 4 years now and have NO complaints. Love them!basically. I love their speed and laugh at my friend who has AT&T for his iphone. When we go to the same websites his takes so long to load while I'm there already. Also their customer service is awesome.

But the next time you have to get a new SUBSIDIZED hand set you will have to get it up. Solution: UPDATE your handset before the deadline one more time, or keep buying phones outright to keep your unlimited. If you still have 3g: Update asap to 4gLTE handset and See A. Thats how it works. So if you already have it no worries.
