Posts: 2645 05/17/2012 9:52 AM	Somehow I'm not shocked. I don't get my upgrade until October so I figured they'd find a way to not let me keep my unlimited data. I understand that I never reach 2 gigs (provided they keep it that way) of data but that's not the point. The people "grandfathered" in should be allowed to upgrade one more time before they force it upon us. I like my phone but the last software update pushed to my phone screwed up the sound. I have to reset it at least once a day or otherwise I have no sound. I'm not the only one with that problem either. But because of this issue, I was looking forward to a new phone. Stupid Verizon.... Posts: 11469 05/17/2012 10:39 AM I beg your unbelievable pardon?!	Hm, I upgraded to a phone with LTE a few months ago and kept my unlimited data, so I'm not due for another upgrade for a long time. But if I'm understanding the articles correctly, the next time anybody gets a new phone with LTE, we have to sign up for a tiered data plan and that includes those of us who currently have LTE. So the next time we get new phones, we have to get a tiered plan. I'm not shocked though at the news, it's been hinted at for awhile now but it doesn't suck any less.

I get great service where I am, have no issues with dropped calls, no signals, etc. and, unlike most other carriers, they don't "slow down" my speed or whatever when I use a lot of data. And I use a lot of data. I get free mobile to mobile calls (so basically, I use like NO minutes each month) and yeah, we have truly unlimited data Same here, I've been with Sprint for 9 years and I've never been unhappy. Sprint FTW!!!

Are they going to make you sign a new contract when ours expires that includes the data share? Maybe I should go sign a new one today. I'm perfectly happy with my current 3G phone.

Yeah, cuz like I said, I have two Iphones and I use my phone a lot when I'm not home (which is most of the time) I use the internet, social media apps, youtube, I send a lot of email etc etc etc. I looked at my bill and between both phones it says I get pretty close to 2 GB a month.

I'm on facebook, google searches once in a while, words with friends and youtube to just kill the battery on my phone. Since I have to have the battery die everyday otherwise the charge sucks.

I just logged in to my account and I have 400 minutes on a family share plan for both my phones. It says my new cycle just started yesterday on the 16th and it's saying that I've already used 750 minutes of my 1400 during this cycle. There's no way in hell that's possible. Yesterday was my first day and I spent 8 hours filming yesterday and was not on my phone. There's not a chance that between 6:00 last night and this morning that I talked for 12 and a half hours when I was sleeping. Edit: Okay nevermind. The guy says that they're having an issue with their system in the last 24 hours and nothing is switching over and updating like it should. So it's all good. I was about to be pissed.
