One source tells Radar that his wife, Mary Kennedy was found dead. The source says Mary committed suicide, but RadarOnline.com has yet to confirm that information and police would not confirm or deny that Mary is dead. "There was an EMT vehicle outside the home about an hour ago," a second source exclusively told RadarOnline.com. The famed Kennedy was married to Mary for 16 years, before filing for divorce in May 2010. The couple has four children together. RFK Jr., 58, is the son of former Sen. Not all of the bad events are, but many have been.

Police issued a statement confirming that they were investigating a "possible unattended death" at 326 South Bedford Road on Wednesday afternoon. Police reports also confirm that officers found "a deceased individual … inside an out building on that property." But the police report withheld the individual's name until a family notification had been made, and no further details were immediately available. Multiple online sources identified the deceased person as Mary Kennedy. In May 2010, Robert, the son of former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, filed for divorce from Mary after 16 years of marriage. Details of their divorce filing were kept private. At the time of the filing, police were summoned to Kennedy's home for a "domestic incident," according to reports. Robert, a radio host and environmental activist, alleged his wife was intoxicated. Three days later, Mary was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police spotted her running over a curb near her home. Police said she had a .11 blood alcohol level. She pleaded guilty to a lesser charge, was fined $500 and had her license suspended for 90 days. In August 2010, she was charged with driving under the influence of drugs after speeding down the Taconic State Parkway, according to AP reports at the time. She was determined to be under the influence of prescription medication. Mary is survived by Robert, 58, and their children Conor, Kyra, William and Aiden. I actually just read a book last year on the "Kennedy Curse" with all of the stuff that happened to all the different members of the family dating back into the very early days of the first guy that it started with, and it's astonishing how much insanity and death is in that family. It's not so much a curse but like Julie Anne said, they think they're invincible and they're clearly not. But it does seem that there is a dark shadow that hangs over anyone with that last name or anyone who marries in, there's such a long list of tragedy. The Kennedy Curse has been profiled for a while, but I never knew how deep it ran until I ended up reading that book. She'll be another name to add to the list, sadly.

"We deeply regret the death of our beloved sister Mary, whose radiant and creative spirit will be sorely missed by those who loved her," Mary Kennedy's family said in a statement released through her lawyer. "Our heart goes out to her children who she loved without reservation. We have no further comment at this time." Bedford, N.Y., police responded to the Kennedy home in Mount Kisco, N.Y., at 1:36 p.m. today to investigate a "possible unattended death," according a news release. While police would not identify the person who died, the house is listed under the names of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Mary Kennedy on property reports. "Responding officers confirm that a deceased individual has been located inside an out building on that property," the statement said. "At this time, the Bedford Police Department is not releasing the identity of that individual until notification to family members has been made." Actually, I bought that thing at a book sale at random, there was nothing else really there but old lady love stories with covers featuring long haired guys on horses with too much chest hair and I didn't want to leave with nothing. Some of it was so boring but it did tell me a lot I hadn't known before. I plan to yard sale it this summer.
