How can anyone not love him???� smiley: happy

I've been to a hell of a lot of concerts in my time and his farewell tour from a few years still remains in my top 5 all-time favorites.

I'm so sad that he retired.

He does harmonies really well.
And he's awesome at playing an instrument while singing.

I also think James Taylor, U2, and Dave Matthews all suck. But I like more aggressive music.. whether it's rock or hip hop. Or something with Rhythm, like Earth Wind and Fire.

Phil Collins is the shit. Still better than a lot of the crap that gets put out now that some people call music. My mum had his records & I always listened to them. His statement about how no one will miss him was sad though.

He plays pretty much any instrument there is. That is so awesome.

I only got to see him in concert one time, but I am so happy I was able to.

I love him/them! Well minus one thing... the song Land of Confusion, love the song, hate hate hate the music video

I blame Phil for my semi-irrational fear of puppets because that video scared the living hell out of me as a child and it still does to this day!

I would rather face down a pack of rabidness chainsaw killers than walk down a dark alley and have one of those puppets jump out at me.

I've always been a HUGE Phil Collins fan. Something In The Air has always been one of my top fave songs. And his "Hello I Must Ge Going" is my fave album of all time.

I firmly believe that anyone who dislikes Phil & Genesis is in some way mad. I have a co-worker whose husband detests Genesis and any time he hears one of their songs launches into a rant about how Phil Collins can't sing. Even if Peter Gabriel is actually singing. I think this is grounds for divorce but have not shared my view with her.

Yesterday I spent a good hour watching Genesis videos on YouTube - good times!
