You know how there's that parental saying, "You'll thank me when you're older" or "You'll understand why I'm doing this when you're older"? Well, now that you're older, do you think they were right or do you think they should have done things differently?
My parents weren't the worst, but I wish that they gave us more freedom and encouraged us to be more social. They were all about school and discouraged or highly limited the amount of time I spent with friends. Also, my mom pretty heavily and outwardly favors my sister over me and I think that is a reason that we aren't close.
