Cupcake girl told Ted that hanging out with Robin and Barney would prevent him from finding "The One" in the beginning/middle of the season. The writers had plenty of time to take care of that issue. Now, unless it's handled correctly, if Ted meets The Mother at Barney's wedding (which is taking place at the end of this season, right?) it's just going to seem like he's settling for her because he can't have Robin. That would undermine the entire point of the series.

Posts: 6168 05/05/2012 12:37 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I agree, I'm SO OVER Ted and Robin and I'm so ready for Ted's love life to really start moving along towards meeting the mother. I thought it seemed too early for Lily too, but she got pregnant during the hurricane which was around Labor Day weekend last year, so she'd have the baby around the middle-end of May this year.
