Posts: 6712 05/02/2012 10:18 PM	I think "an amazing voice" is subjective. I can agree that there are any number of contestants on The Voice this season who have amazing vocal abilities. That being said, none of them make me feel like my bones are melting, which is generally the feeling I get when I listen to Tony. To me, his voice is amazing.

Posts: 10901 05/02/2012 10:19 PM	I don't dislike the guy for not having a powerhouse voice, I really don't think that's all that matters in music, if it did we'd barely have any pop artists or just artist in general. He's just average as hell on the show. And i'm not just talking about his vocals here. His stage presence is not that great, his performances are not that great, his vocals are obviously not that great, and his personality? Let's be real here, he comes off as entitled on the show, which is a big part of the reason he's such a huge turnoff for a lot of viewers. That being said as long as he doesn't actually win it's fine, he can go ahead and hang out all he wants, but if he wins it'll be a huge disappointment.

Most pop artists and artists in general don't have powerhouse voices (like I mentioned with my love of Britney Spears haha). However, the competition is called The Voice. They're supposed to be searching for amazingly talented vocalists. Tony Lucca is a good artist, and a good musician. But his vocals alone are not a great selling point. He does have vocal talent, but he is certainly not the best vocalist.

Posts: 31800 05/02/2012 10:30 PM	I think he's incredibly talented and deserves any success he gets. I honestly do not understand the extreme hate against him since going on the Voice. However, I do think he's a better songwriter than a vocalist. My favorite "voice" on the show is Juliet.

Posts: 2511 05/02/2012 10:37 PM	I hope I'm not one of the crazies but I will say this. Tony does have an amazing voice. It's hiding in there somewhere, but I suspect years of smoking and drinking have clouded it. He even said it in one of the packages that there's a part of his voice that isn't as strong as it used to be so he has to go around it. But I mean, half of the people in music, even the ones who have actual singing talent wouldn't last on the show. I always think of Justin. Justin has this X-factor about him but there's no way he would win a singing competition because he can't belt it out.

He has fans from 20 years ago who have been following him and his music and just want him to finally get his big break. I don't see anything wrong with that. His own music is so much more better than what he's singing on The Voice even though he does great on the show IMO.

Posts: 3709 05/02/2012 11:52 PM I kern because I care!	When I fist heard Tony auditioned for the show, I was excited because we would get to see Tony on a big stage with a full band, lights ect. Turns out, I much prefer him without all that. The whole thing with him and Christina is awkward and I feel like he keeps a front up around her. I don't expect him to win, but I'm so glad the fans/adam got him to the finals so that he got all the exposure possible from the show. Now he can use it to do whatever he wants with his career.

I agree with some people that his vocal talents are really showcased at all on the show. I did love his blind audition though Trouble was amazing I wish he would have gone along those lines through out the competition. The thing between him Christina is just awkward. She never seems to have anything nice to say about him everything is always some kind of backhand remark.

He seems like a regular karaoke singer. Maybe he should've joined nsync 15 years ago with Justin and JC. Oh well guess he missed his chance .

It's amazing that people can do that but to be honest I don't always think it sounds that nice... like, I'm a Christina fan but that's very much because I think she has both. I really like Tony's voice. It's probably true that a lot of people have similar abilities but you could say the same about big belt singers. I really like his sound and what he does with it, that to me is much more of a differentiator than the vocal alone.
