I'd be pissed as hell if someone left my property in that condition and then i had to pay someone with my own money to clean that shit up. He, surprisingly, didn't seem too angry. also, why hasn't he been checking up on the house, don't landlords usually go in and make sure shit is in order or something? that pile of garbage didn't accumulate over night, not that it's his fault, but it's odd that he never noticed before.

Posts: 11507 03/04/2012 4:43 AM Vampire Freak	they used to do them every 3 months but since we keep the place nice and no holes in the walls ETC, they do it once a year and you dont have a choice, if you are not home they will still do the inspection so we make sure someone is home everytime they do one. we dont want someone here when we are not here

Both of the apartments I've lived in in NYC have yearly inspections. I certainly don't mind, it only takes a minute or two since they just walk through and make sure the apartment hasn't been wrecked lol

I've become a bit of a germophobe over the last few years so I hate having "random" people walking around in their shoes touching stuff. I always make sure I'm home as well. That's the thing I wonder about when I watch the hoarding shows. The people who live in apartments and rented houses, how do they not have management coming in every so often? I understand they probably don't do that in NYC, but I imagine they do in more suburban areas.
