What happened to the whole "my daughter doesn't have cancer, so everything's good" mentality? She's going to have a big wedding, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I know I would be beside myself upset if my daughter did that and I'm pretty positive my parents would be too if I did that. I highly doubt any of us would have the "I want them to get the marriage annulled" attitude though unless the new husband was a bad guy or something. The preview for next week is kind of funny though. It's so obvious Gretchen's parents don't want her to marry Slade. And Breanna is all "I don't know anything about him...I don't know where he works, I don't know where he lives..." about Brooks when her mom doesn't really know anything about the guy she just MARRIED

Honey, it's not the cold you have that makes you sound awful ... your voice comes by it naturally! The looks on the faces of the PCD staff while she was rehearsing were priceless!

Maybe it's because in my family, weddings aren't a huge deal anyway (neither is marriage, for that matter), but who really gives a shit? It's what Brianna wanted, it's about her--not Vicki. Vicki just wanted to micromanage Brianna's life and realized that she was losing her grip on it. Big fucking deal lady, get over it.

He is really slimy and tries too hard to be that "charming Southern gentleman." He wants to make Vicki feel like every day is the prom? Oh please. Gag me. Gotta say though, I'm enjoying this season much more than the last couple. It's so much nicer when everyone is getting along and not catfighting.
