I agree too. You know the Grammy's next year will have some huge tribute to MJ and maybe Justin can be part of that. Like someone said too the VMA's.

i think you alla fre forgetting his last minute performance at this years grammys. he threw that together in a couple hours. if he were to fly to america
tonight, because of the time difference ( if he isnt already there) he would have all tomorrow to rehearse before going on. He's a professional. Im not
sure if it's true or not but

He might make a speech or something but I really doubt he'd perform at this point. I mean MJ is a huge icon, if Justin was gonna do some kinda performance,
I think he'd really take time to do it well and go all out. And being that he's still(?) in London, I kinda doubt he has time to do that, so yea.

just out of curiosity how do you all know he's still in london. i know he went to some tennis thing but that was today not this evening. and seeing as

If he had the intention of performing tomorrow don't you think he would have skipped Wimbledon and the dinner at Nobu in London today and flew home last
night or very early this morning? It's not like the things he did in the UK today were work related, they were downtime leisure activities. He was spotted
at Nobu around 9PM London time.
I know he would still have the time to make it to LA, but it would be cutting it close. I think he'll do his scheduled things in Europe, and do a MJ tribute properly on a bigger stage at a later date.

It could be that the rumor turned into a story without anyone bothering to check sources before printing it. It wouldn't be the first time. |

It's already been mentioned that people don't even know if Jusitn was asked to participate. If he was, people will have to remember that he does have a
schedule that has taken him to the other side of the globe to the proceedings.
I'm sure that most will be focussing on what's actually happening to take too much notice of those absent, especially if there's a good turnout and things are done well. People may only start looking around if proceedings look a bit thin and makeshift and there's no reason why they should. |

yeah so when he doesnt show, im not saying he wont but if he doesnt all the people who got all excited and assumed better not be pissed. he may show he may
not. jackson was his idol so its a good chance he'd take off to fly there to do the show. especially since today he spent a leisure day in london he must
have some free time. But also dont forget we dont know his full schedule so he could be busy today be he could have also taken it off. SO i guess we wont know
until theres an official confirmation from bet, justin or until the show starts. we can all just hope we get to see him grace the stage in honor of such a
wonderful musical genius. I know i'll be watching. whether justin is there or not im looking forward to the tribute. plus i agree with the before poster.
Michaels death is still so fresh in peoples minds so when people perform even when it isn pretty last minute their gonna put so much passion and emotion into
the performances that its gonne be an amazing sight to behold.

he's performing with chris brown and usher.
But from what I saw, there's not much 100% confirmed besides the fact there will be a MJ tribute. So I think it'll be interesting to see what actually happens. It should be a very interesting show. Although, I still agree with missbeehaven. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pretaped message or something but I just kinda doubt justin will be there, much less perform.  On the off chance he happens to show up, I'll glady eat my words lol

It never ceases to amaze me how gullible people are and how they can take certain stories in print as gospel and refuse to believe that things aren't
always as reported.
But then as you said, there are always whiners so even if they know that it's not his fault, they may still go off the deep end but hopefully commonsense as well as the desire to celebrate MJ, will prevail this time. I can also see a taped message from J. I'm sure that there will be many of those because for one thing, they can't invite the world but they can play a lot of their thoughts and wishes. |

yup, I agree. There's a lot of "Justin's doing such and such for MJ: a tribute/BET/a concert" rumors going around now and while some of them
probably have a bit of truth in them; most of them are just people getting excitable and priting/reporting stuff that's not fully confirmed...yet atleast.
I'm sure he will participate in some kinda tribute at some point in time but for now I just try to take stuff with a grain of salt until I get more
official type info.

On the Today Show just now, they just said artists like Usher and Justin are scrambling to get last minute flights to get to the BET Awards show for the MJ
tribute. Like others said, it still doesn't mean they definately know what they're talking about! |
