I saw it on Yahoo. There was a story about him being rushed to the hospital and then above that it says "Late breaking news: Michael Jackson dies at
50".

Laur, the point was that at that point that TMZ had "confirmed" it without official confirmation. CNN at least waited until OFFICIAL WORD (as in,
from the LA coroner's office) came before they confirmed.
