Things were getting a little boring there before these two episodes, but they certainly brought it. Maybe Victoria was entered into witness protection program or something. And we won't know until she actually testifies. OTH, if they bring on another powerhouse to play Emily's mother, it might get too crowded. Who knows. Charlotte can stay away for all I care, and she can take Declan, Jack, and FakeAmanda with her for all I care. Lydia can stay dead, she's pretty to look at, but that's about all there is to it. And my Daniel and Emily.... I want to believe that she meant it when she said she wanted to be with him despite the fact he is a Grayson. It was really how he acted after his father told him about David Clarke that changed her mind. And Jack

I googled him some more and he was in the Bourne movies as well. Had no idea he had quite a resume! i wouldn't mind it if they let declan kick the bucket either.

Posts: 20383 12/23/2012 1:30 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I just super-marathoned the first season on Netflix and haven't gotten to season two yet. That's why I'm bumping this thread rather than the s2 thread. It never occurred to me to watch this but I was looking through Netflix for a show to marathon and got intrigued. Especially since it's very loosely based on my favorite book The Count of Monte Cristo (although I've only read it once because I have a huge problem with how it ends). I pretty much liked the whole first season but I liked the first half best, when it was one episode one take down and before she started letting her emotions skew her original plan. The one thing that I hated about the book was that it totally suckered out at the end. Just when he was about to exact revenge on his biggest target he redeemed himself and didn't go through with it. I'm sure most people love a good tale of redemption but for me redemption ruins a good revenge story. Before I started the first episode I was afraid that would happen here to. And unfortunately I did see bits of that with her falling for Daniel and having a soft spot for the insufferable Charlotte and wtf at letting the white-haired man go. Of course I also knew from the get-go that the story would have to wander since it's a TV show and thus not immediately finite like a book. Now I'm off to hopefully easily catch up on season 2. Hopefully the whole thing is on On Demand but I'm not optimistic.
