A FLASHBACK TO WHEN IT ALL BEGAN FOR EMILY THORNE, ON ABC'S "REVENGE"

"Legacy" - The year is 2002 in the Hamptons� Emily, who is still Amanda Clarke, is wayward and reckless until Nolan convinces her to read her father's journals. It is then that it all starts sinking in, and Amanda starts staking out the Grayson home, identifying all the Grayson Global players her father described, and piecing together the truth. Her anger builds into determination and focus; this is where it all begins - the genesis of Amanda's ultimate plan to bring justice to her father -- on "Revenge," WEDNESDAY, MAY 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network

ugh, this sort of seems like a filler episode.

as for my thoughts so far...i find it hard to believe emily would've been able to get that close to the grayson's home. don't most rich people have pretty good security systems around their property? or maybe it's just within the home. i was just surprised she got all the way up on the deck w/o setting off any sensors, other than that motion light.

I find it even more hard to believe that Emily/Amanda was working at the Grayson's at their party, talking to all the players, and that no one recognizes her now from then.

i agree. maybe this isn't normal, but i never forget a face. i can't believe there wasn't a single person there who didn't recognize her, esp the people who dealt with her directly, like the journalist or psychiatrist.

This episode is boring me..badly.

Just finished it. And yeah, total waste of an episode. Complete filler bs.

I admit, I totally zoned out. I could tell a few minutes in it was a filler and at a time like this DNW. Just gimme the ending already!

No, there's 2 episodes left. Next week and the 23rd.

That was boring with the entire thing being flashbacks and flashbacks within flashbacks.

To be fair, kiddie Amanda looked a lot different. I know it's not realistic, but still. smiley: laugh

Plus, the psychiatrist was drunk most of the night, and Mason is just too full of himself. Though I will say, Mason surprised me in how cunning he can be. Overall, I expects more of a dramatic affect. Not too impressed with her "struggles" before believing her father.

Why is it that I find Conrad more likable than Victoria?

They're both despicable, but I love Henry Czerny and Madeleine Stowe.

Sammy is the only "loved one" that Jack & Emily share (because I don't think Emily really "loves" the real Emily) and based on the character's supposed ages, Sammy is older than dirt. I'm preparing myself for the death to be Sammy.

ok, thoughts so far...

ashley is annoying, as usual. oh and might i add that she's a nosy bitch, lol.

lydia is also annoying. she's so smug yet helpless.

what was nolan thinking going to that killer's house in disguise? i would think his face would be way too known for that to work. it would be like mark zuckerberg trying to show up somewhere in disguise.

declan showed more emotion over sammy dying than his dad.

ugh, i really hope nolan isn't dead.

I've always been Team Daniel (except I'm not liking his douchery tendencies as of late), so I wasn't crazy about Emily and Jack kissing. Blah.

Ashley: wtf? I kinda forgot that she and Emily weren't friends anymore. I hoped that would have gone away a bit when it was exposed that Tyler was crazy and Emily wasn't completely wrong.

I groaned out loud when Lydia showed up

I thought we were done with her.

I don't knock Nolan for trying. It might have helped to add more of a disguise than just a mustache.

OMG I LOVE GLOVES SO MUCH

- Amanda and Jack's reaction over Sammy's death made me misty-eyed
- I loved seeing Amanda and Jack kiss
- Daniel's slightly more tolerable now that he has just the slightest bit of edge to him
- Ashley will break her neck to tell Victoria/Daniel/anyone who will listen about Amanda kissing Jack
- I like the actress who plays Lydia, but the character is stupid
- The Nolan/Amanda scenes in this episode were great. He really cares about her, and I'm glad Amanda finally acknowledged that he's a dear friend.
- I literally said, "No!" when the white-haired guy grabbed Nolan at the end of the episode

I'll pinpoint my thoughts for the episode as well:

- FINALLY something between Jack and real!Amanda. I've always, at the inner most, been team Jack. Daniel grew on me and seemed like such a good guy, but I feel like now he's showing his true colors and I kind of wish he would've just died.

It's horrible but true. His only value was how virtuous and honest he seemed to be --- outside of his horrible family. Now he's bending backwards to protect them? Please. Fuck off! That's all I have to say about that. It's not like he has any defense either. He knows how twisted his family is and the shit they've pulled, he's just a greedy little bitch saving his own ass now because if he doesn't his entire fortune will flounder.

- Sammy.

I bawled. I can't help it... I can't fathom losing my favorite companion/creature on earth. I broke down in tears.

- I love Nolan but he was so fucking stupid for thinking he could pull something like that off. I knew the second he did it White-haired man was going to figure it out and come after him. I actually thought he might just kill him and they'd end the season that way (but for some odd reason I thought tonight was the finale...) with a whole new reason for "revenge." Especially since there's no doubt how close Nolan and Amanda are. I love them... But I can't imagine it ending well.

- Everyone else can DIAF. Victoria is still fabulous as ever but God damn is she a bitch. I hate Conrad 100x more but still, I've lost anything I ever could have felt for anyone in that family. Even Charlotte is a whiny little bitch that I don't care for at all when she's on screen.

That's about it. I really can't wait for the finale though, to see how it all pans out. I want SOBADLY for Amanda to admit to Jack who she is... When Sammy died I thought maybe it'd come out --- but that would just be the fangirl in me hoping.
