The show needs to get back to the "this is not a story of forgiveness"/David Clarke concept instead of making it the Daniel saga. Emily's at her best when she's exacting revenge on the Graysons et al. I'm fine with her having some human connection to people like Nolan, Jack, Takeda, and even a soft spot for Charlotte, but that's it.

Wowww I would have never guessed that Emily would bring the thug into this and then the stunt Conrad pulled with getting him murdered?? And now we learned that David Clarke was probably killed too? DAMN. I love this show, can't wait for next week.

Your stairway lies on the whispering wind Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I find all the recent post so ironic because the twist at the end of tonight's episode was SO perfect. It's almost exactly what people here wanted. She now has a whole new vengeance on the Grayson's, Daniel is cleared, Jack is cleared, the artist dude is gone (who everyone seemed to dislike), so it's literally back to her wanting "Revenge." Brilliant! Now I can see, since this is the end of the season (so to speak) where the writers are going with this. I totally see a Daniel/Amanda (real Amanda --- I'll never consider her Emily)/Grayson cliffhanger for the second season.

Posts: 54622 05/02/2012 11:07 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	ok, can someone explain to me who the white-haired guy is? i wasn't paying attention to the scenes he was previously in. emily seemed to recognize him once she saw him in that video. i also have to say i was really disappointed, but not surprised, that daniel turned out to be just like his family. it just sucks b/c they've made him seem like he was a good guy just caught up in a bad family. now it's clear he's just as heartless as the rest of his family since he's still willing to support his dad after finding out that he caused the deaths of multiple people and destroyed other lives, too. i kind of wish conrad had put a hit out on ashley, instead of giving her a fancy car and job at his company. she's so damn annoying to me, lol. I have no problems with him being grey, those are usually the best kind of characters.Sick and tired of him being a pawn in Emily's revenge. He just got more interesting and we dont know what his motives are, I think he is a Grayson at heart and wants that power but imo I think Emily remains his downfall. He loves her and I think despite all that, she'll be his conscious, imo their relationship just got more interesting. yeah my love for revenge is back, was bored once it came back from the hiatus.

This. I didn't see any ball growing tonight, but I admit I was preoccupied during this episode. For some reason I felt like this was more of a filler episode, nothing extraordinary happened. But when it comes to what happened with the Grayson's and his dad I think it would have said 100x more for him to say, ya know what? Screw the money. Screw your corrupt sick business and drama. Like someone else said though, I think inside he really is kind of a greedy kid that's too scared to lose his lifestyle. I don't think he's a bad person but... maybe spoiled is the word I'm looking for. And I also agree about Emily being the one thing bringing him back from the greed and corruptness of that family. She did suffer because of it so it'd make sense she'd be the opposite to help lead him in a right (or wrong --- still can't figure out if she wants to get at him or loves him) direction.

If Daniel just disregarded everything his dad says and is like screw this, Im part of this family then I'll be dissappointed and it wont make any sense. But I'm always waiting for the other show to drop, always and it usually does. Daniel babbling everything at that interview would have tied a bow. Then what's left for Emily, her revenge is over, I didnt see things going down like that. She wants the ultimate revenge herself, and I still yet dont know what that is lol. But its obvious, Daniel isn't going to be the one to bring his family down, she will in some way when she's ready. I guess I was just glad to see him PROACTIVE for once, tired of poor Daniel everyone is playing him for a pawn. I think they're making him more of a grey character and I'm fine with it to an extent of course. Why didn't they show us all of what his dad told him? I know he must have said alot cause Emily was listening but something just don't seem right. I think there's more beats yet left to play, the show imo wants Emily in the Gryson circle and I cant blame them. What is she going to do, settle happily ever after with Jack bartending? Imo the Grayson's is the more interesting way to go with whatever she and Jack has going on, on the side. I see some twisted relationship with Daniel because imo he loves her, even with suspicion that much is obvious. I dont see that changing and I still think Emily feels...something. Things got much more interesting to me then Daniel pining after Emily while she's happy with Jack, cause the porters frankly bore me though they have their moments.

Now they have to build a bigger web for this to last long. As for Daniel, I'm just so glad the boy is no longer the fool in all of this. Emily adores Jack because he represented a point in her life where her life was perfect and in a way she wants to go back to that. But she can't anymore even if she wanted to because her father is no longer here and she has blood on her hands. On the other hand, her relationship with Daniel is dysfunctional on so many levels. Then what's left for Emily, her revenge is over, I didnt see things going down like that. this is a good point. i just hope the writers will eventually show that daniel really does have more integrity than the rest of his family since they've kind of made him seem that way up until now. i'd like to see him come out a leader, rather than just following along in his family's footsteps. i guess that's why i didn't find his actions in the last episode to be particularly interesting or gutsy. he may not be a clueless pawn anymore, but to me, going along with whatever his family wants seems equally pathetic. i'm hoping he's got something more than that up his sleeve, though.
