Angelina Jolie's got a lot on her plate, but she always makes time for the causes near and dear to her heart.
The 37-year-old actress, activist and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees special envoy is helping the organization raise awareness for World Refugee Day, which is coming up June 20.�
In the PSA, Jolie poignantly points out that there are over 43 million refugees around the world. Of those in need, UNHCR provides lifesaving assistance to nearly 34 million.
The organization's goal is to share the stories of refugee families and get the word out so that people across America will extend their generosity and concern to support them.
Jolie has served as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for more than a decade, and has visited refugees around the world.

First up, after rumors of her casting first cropped up this spring, Deadline reports that Cruz has made it official, signing on to star in Ridley Scott's "The Counselor." Penned by Cormac McCarthy, and featuring an insanely stacked cast including Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Cruz's husband Javier Bardem, the story centers on the titular character who tries to make some quick money through a drug deal, with things going terribly wrong in the process. No word yet on her role, but by process of elmination, it seems she's taken the smaller part of Laura, the counselor's fiancé. Size wise, it's about the equivalent of Kelly McDonald's part in "No Country For Old Men," but it's still pretty crucial.
"Standby Lovers" will shoot first this summer, with "The Counselor" to follow in the fall. Cruz often does her best work with in her native tongue (and with Almodovar) so we're super excited to see them back together for the first time since "Broken Embraces," and provided it stays lean and mean, "The Counselor" has tremendous promise.

GARRET DILLAHUNT: Yeah!
What was the appeal of that for you?
DILLAHUNT: It’s a great cast. That’s going to be a whole other kind of challenge. The language in that is so heightened, in its way. Even the most uneducated was fairly poetic, in the way they expressed themselves. My character certainly is that. He goes on and on about his troubles. But, I’ve long been a fan of Chiwetel Ejiofor. I think he’s a great actor. He’s my kind of guy. He does what I aspire to do. The difference between him in Kinky Boots and this is exactly what we’re supposed to do. I’m really excited to work with him. My scenes are all with him.
Steve McQueen is such an interesting, thoughtful filmmaker.
DILLAHUNT: I’m excited to get to know him. I’ve never met him. It will be fun. I like how he’s kinda messy. I like that. I think things should be messy.

A release date for the flick, based on a Max Brooks novel about zombies in a postapocalyptic world, has been pushed from December to June 2013, with reshoots taking place later this fall.

Explore a Minefield shows how mine-clearance has allowed families to return home, land to be used for agriculture, roads to be re-opened, and children to walk to school safely – in short, communities to thrive. It also shows viewers minefields that remain in villages which still require clearance.
Thanks to a grant from Google Earth Outreach, HALO uses Google Earth Pro in thirteen countries for minefield survey, data validation and to produce maps for donors, governments, and other NGOs. Google Earth’s historical imagery allows HALO to provide time-lapse images that clearly show how landmine removal is helping war-torn communities rebuild. Explore a Minefield was funded through a Google Earth Outreach Developer Grant and has contributed to HALO’s mission, “getting mines out of the ground, now.”
Landmines and other explosive remnants endanger some of the world’s most vulnerable people, injuring and killing thousands every year and preventing much-needed development. Founded in 1988, The HALO Trust is the world’s oldest and largest humanitarian landmine clearance organization. HALO has cleared over 414,000 acres of land and removed over 13 million landmines and other explosive remnants of war.
Angelina Jolie first learned about the landmine issue and the work of The HALO Trust while filming Tomb Raider in Cambodia. She has since been an advocate of HALO’s work, visiting and supporting mine removal efforts in a number of war-torn countries including Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Kosovo.

Paul Giamatti has revealed that Twelve Years A Slave will be "grim".
The Rock Of Ages star is the latest addition to Steve McQueen's historical drama, alongside Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
"Shooting will start down in New Orleans this summer. It'll be interesting. It's a very grim film, a very big contrast to Rock Of Ages," said the actor.
Chiwetel stars as writer Solomon Northup, a married man from New York who was tricked and sold into slavery for 12 years in Steve's big-screen adaptation of Northup's 1853 autobiography
Paul has been cast as Freeman, the man who takes possession of the slaves when they first arrive in New Orleans.
"I play this real guy called Theophilus Freeman, who was the biggest slave trader in America at the time. His name was Freeman - how ironic!" Paul added.
"He did all kinds of things: he trained them to be able to play music and dance so I have a lot of horrifying scenes. It's pretty grotesque. Unfortunately, none of the white people come off very well - it's pretty grim."
The 45-year-old admitted he hasn't seen Steve's latest film: "I haven't seen Shame, but I saw Hunger and liked it very much. I'm interested to see Shame."
Martha Marcy May Marlene's Sarah Paulson and Raising Hope's Garret Dillahunt are also rumoured to have parts in the film, which is scheduled for a 2013 release.

The Fight Club star, currently renting a property in the county, popped into HGB Motorcycles in Ruislip, Greater London.
He posed with the shop’s owner and staff after browsing the bike gadgets and items from the new Honda Gold Wing range.
Maybe Brad was keen to get out of the pad he and Angelina Jolie are renting – we revealed they’ve had trouble with blocked drains, with the the pong getting up neighbours’ noses.
Brad was also eyeing up mini motorbikes for his kids but only left with gloves and a helmet.
A source said: “Having been a rider himself for years, Brad knows his stuff. He’s interested in getting his and Angelina’s brood into motorbikes but is still unsure about actually buying small bikes for them.
Brad also paid a visit to the nearby Daytona Motorcycles, where he purchased a few more pieces for his bike, as well as an armoured shirt.
A member of staff said: "He was a top bloke. It was just like talking to an ordinary customer."

The 48-year-old actor was in town to check out Documenta, an exhibition of modern and contemporary art, which takes place every five years.
Late last month, Brad popped into a motorcycle shop in London where he picked up a crash helmet, a pair of gloves and a back protector.
“We had a nice chat and he came across as very friendly,” David Connell, manager of HGB Motorcycles, told People. “He is obviously keen on his bikes and has been riding them since he was young.”

A Kent teen starring in a London musical doubted his manager who told him Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wanted to see him after the show.
"I didn't really believe him," said Adam Vesperman, who plays the lead role in "Billy Elliot the Musical" at the Victoria Palace Theatre, in an email interview.
Vesperman, who turned 14 on June 11, didn't even know the couple and four of their six children were in the audience for the May 12 matinee. They simply sat in regular seats.
But sure enough, Vesperman followed his manager David Massey to a private spot in the theatre where he met the couple and their kids.
"They had just seen my show and I was so excited to have the opportunity to perform for two incredible actors," Vesperman said. "They were so nice, normal and real."
Vesperman's accent he developed for the show caught Pitt and Jolie by surprise.
"We chatted for a few minutes and they realized I actually had an American accent," Vesperman said. "I have a British Geordie accent throughout the show, so they assumed I was British. They asked where I was from. I told them Seattle, Washington and they were a bit in shock by that."
The celebrity couple definitely took an interest in Vesperman and his background.
"They asked me about living in London, my education, my family and training," he said. "I couldn’t believe that they were treating me like I was a star and it felt very good."
Robyn Vesperman talked to her son the day after he met the famous celebrity couple.
"I could tell the excitement still in his voice even after another half of a day had passed," Robyn Vesperman said in an email. "I am so happy that Adam perceived them as really nice and normal. People to look up to that are not above showing their appreciation and respect for the artistry of others."

Cargill: You're now shooting the new "Sleeping Beauty" movie, "Maleficent" with her.
Thwaites: People want to know all this stuff about Angelina Jolie. She's a massive star in this film and she's such an amazing actress and a great figure in this industry.
But my experience with her and all the other stars in the film is quite normal. We rock out and we rehearse and we talk about the scene and we talk about the characters. Everyone kind of voices their opinion and talks to the director and it's just like any other film. There's no stardom. All that stuff is left at the front door. We're all kind of working together to create this cool film.
