Frankly, my cares for John Mayer have really dwindled down to nothing. Like the old stuff but I'm at a point where I don't honestly feel any need whatsoever to see him in concert or deal with the shennanigans that seem to come from anything involved with him. It's more of a...lack of care either way.

I loved Battle Studies, which I'm aware is odd, but I hadn't loved anything since Room For Squares... and I hated (and still dislike) Heavier Things. Shadow Days is alright. I'll reserve judgement until I hear the whole CD though - or if I'm in the US and decide to drive all the way up to bumfuck Orono.

Posts: 89197 02/28/2012 11:26 PM	It's hard for me to compare things to Room For Squares. With that record EVERYTHING was new and John was new. It was like I bonded with him and the album and you really can't recreate that. It holds a very special place in my heart and I can't really compare it with anything. Weird? Heavier Things and Continuum are the albums I listen to the most.

If you don't have 2 computers, use 2 browsers but after a while, ticketmaster sees that you are from the same computer and starts giving you the same ticket on both browsers. For me the good tickets didn't come up right away. I love Heavier Things & Room for Squares, I still listen to them the most and a couple of songs off of the other two albums.

Posts: 9400 03/02/2012 8:22 PM mmmbop	I got about 20 rows back for Rhode Island. Was trying to toggle between RI and NY (neither were on TM) but the NY page was taking its time opening so I just went with what I got for RI. Probably the furthest back Ive ever been, but still not bad.

Posts: 5814 03/02/2012 8:31 PM	I'm pissed because my group at work decided to have our daily meeting at 9:58am so I missed the first few minutes of the RI sale! If I had known there was a chance of that happening, I just would have left. I'm sure it wouldn't have helped much being at my computer right at 10:00am but still. The best ticket that I pulled was in the 22nd row I think so I didn't get it. I'll try my luck with CT tomorrow and then just keep checking for RI up until the show.

Posts: 4970 03/03/2012 12:35 AM	I was on at 10 and got orch T and thought oh hell no so I kept trying. The closest I got was Q then some shitty Balcony seats. I tries Tickets for Charity and the site was being a total asshole so I called and they said we had to use the site to order. I got 2 tickets at one point then I hit next and it booted me back to the home page. Now everything is sold out. I'm in mourning.

Posts: 9400 03/03/2012 11:40 AM mmmbop	I was so paranoid about the CT show on sale today. I had 4 different browser windows opened to Ticketmaster and my friend had 3. Finally she pulled up a couple in the center orchestra as I was pushing the purchase along for partial view seats just in case. Ended up with row K. I've never done paperless ticketing before. Should be interesting.
