What's worse is when you realize that even during that time you thought you were "fat." I did that just the other day. I was fucking thin! I had no idea at that time and I remember it like it was yesterday (well it's only been a year so ya).

And also, throughout the years, I have learned what works best for me (type of clothes, hair style, makeup, etc). So that also helps.

I was like 140 pounds and it was all muscle. So I actually lost a good 20 pounds in college because I stopped cheerleading, gymnastics and running, and walked everywhere. It was the skinniest I'd ever been in my whole life.

Its crazy how self perception can be so distorted. I recently just bloated due to meds Im on, and Im looking back at jeans that were a size 4 from a couple of years ago and realized that back then I was always talking about how I needed to lose 10-15 more pounds. Insanity. I would kill to get back to that size/ weight now.
