Okay yeah that ending was kind of predictable with the previews. And I guess not surprised with her choice but I don't think this will be the end of the love triangle because now she will remember that encounter with Damon.

Though crazy bad-ass Ric was short lived. He was a good villain. Wonder who the new villain will be?

oh yeah, i forgot to comment on that. kind of funny to find out that it was actually damon who she met first. like you said, i guess it's the writers' way of keeping the love triangle going, sigh.

So now as a Vampire of course she will remember everything she was compelled to forget. So she will remember she met him first, and when he first told her how he felt.

Probably by midseason next season she will choose Damon

That Damon/Elena scene is such a rewrite they threw in there, he didn't even act like season 1 Damon.

Not sure if they can continue the triangle without Damon looking like a pathetic fool. She chose Stefan, she loves Stefan, she "cares" for Damon. Despite already knowing he loves her, it's not like she
doesn't know he's told her compelled and un-compelled.

It's Stefan she needed to be with and had to see before he died, while Damon died alone. If they do what they did with the books then she'll go to
Damon but only because she doesn't remember, hope that doesn't happen.

I went from saying this episode sucks to this is the greatest thing ever all in the same breath. It's gonna suck waiting for September but at least True blood is coming back.

What happen to Matt davis saying his character isn't going any where. Maybe he'll be appearing as a ghost or if Elena comes back to life then he comes back to life.idk, maybe not the latter.

So much of this episode just made me laugh but nothing more than watching that guy that plays Tyler try to act. And to act like Klaus. This used to be my favorite show and this season has just sucked. It feels like Groundhog Day with each kill Klaus plot and I'm just bored. I'm sure I'll watch the first episode next season to see what happens when she turns, but even that didn't leave me with a real cliffhanger have-to-know-now feeling. Meh.

That Damon/Elena Flashback was way OOC. Especially given the first time we as a audience saw their first meeting. The writers definitely threw that in so they can have that option of even still setting up Damon/Elena. BTW that flashback scene was sooo cheesy, I was biting lips to refrain from laughing.

I think that was just Matt Davis talking because I can only see him coming back as a ghost if that.

I mean the episode playing out was decent, the ending was good with the song. But yeah was okay minus it being predictable and the cheesy Delena flashback. I do miss Kevin Williamson being a part of the show a lot. I miss the epic cliff hangers. S1 finale will always be the best so far in this series.

He did. He recently shot a pilot for CW and he's a main character for it. Whether or not it gets picked up. (Or did it?) I can't remember the name of the show. But he was posting on twitter it wasn't the last of Alaric. But I figured just covering so it wouldn't spoil anything in the show. I don't see how Alaric will come back unless Bonnie comes across some spell or there's a loophole with Elena becoming a vampire or something. But you never know with these writers anymore. SMH.

Exactly, he behaved in the flashback like present Damon and not the Damon that was supposed to be from that flashback time.

Anyway... so mad right now. SO MAD. How dare they kill off my Tyler! At least Trevino's still around, but ugh! Klaus will so get with Caroline now and not in a way we thought he would!

Yeah I'm hoping Bonnie informs Caroline of the Tyler situation because yeah that'd suck.

I felt Damon's emotions with Alaric dying. I kind of lumped it in there when I said I like the way the ending played out especially w/ that song. Ric was one of few friends Damon had even though he had a weird way of showing it a lot. I liked when Ric went to visit Jeremy. I knew immediately it was ghost!Ric saying goodbye.

Exactly! I'm so pissed off about how they handled Tyler. I mean... I guess he would have been a goner anyway, but this is far worse! I can't tell if he's a prisoner trapped in his body or if he's just dead and Klaus has a new form. Either way, f'ed up!

I thought this episode was really well done though. I liked how they finally concluded some things, and f'n finally about Elena!
