And Matt Davis plays crazy evil well. I like it much better than Joseph Morgan's version of Klaus. And good riddance to Klaus though I'm sure if he's not back next week he'll be back sometime probably next season. And that's it? c'mon, I wanted more. I agree. I was literally like: Wait, this is just some dumb spell... This can't be his "death." Right... RIGHT?! Then they talked about dumping his body in the ocean so... I guess... I mean if he's continually eaten by sharks and drained of blood that'll essentially kill him? But what about the sire bond? I get Tyler broke it but does that mean he can actually survive without Klaus? It was a bit unclear to me. Then again, they never had another witch older and wiser to help them. Otherwise (I'm just trying to help the writers thinking along here) they would have been able to do this from the get go. Overall it was pretty lame either way. I did like this episode regardless though. I'm still pissed Alaric is what he is, but I'm glad he has a weakness (Elena) because him being the big bad he's suppose to be is just too easy. I guess they're planning on the next season being about bringing him down? On another random note, I love how in the end Elena was all "btw I don't condone this" and Jeremy is all "don't worry you can go back to being responsible tomorrow" or whatever he said. Um... ALL those bitches are 18 and under! None of them are being responsible, so to speak. It just trips me out, watching shows like this. I remember when my mom refused to let me watch Dawson's Creek because there was too much sex going on. At the time I was like WTH are you talking about!? Same with Buffy and all those shows on the WB. Now I understand why they thought that, because it is kind of strange. I'm not sure if anyone here watches The Secret Circle, but all these 16/17 year olds drinking openly and having sex... Really made me realize how much I didn't understand when I was a decade younger. It's weird.

Maybe bleeding on the brain. It seemed like they focused on how hard she hit, then later she commented on having a headache. From the promo it looks like Spoiler [+] next week she will be saved (obviously with vamp blood) & then she & Matt will go off wickery bridge, she will die and then season 4 we'll have vamp elena. I know in the books she died going off the bridge with matt so I am guessing they will follow that. I think they need to keep her human longer though

What on earth ever happen to Elijah! I mean no one ever stays dead on that show. Plus what is it with all these town parties and costume party dances? That's all they ever do. I mean the first two seasons we were all concerned about that moonstone. Now I don't know who to worry about and not to. I hate how they made Alaric so dark and evil. Klaus last scenes were emotional, but my concern him started to fade. Even though I did like looking at "Love". He just was so angry and brazen in every scene. Elena loving two men. Can't they just bring Katherine back for Damon and let Elena be with Stefan? Poor Bonnie they just always call her when they need her to put a spell on someone. I'm just glad her nose stopped bleeding when she used her powers. Tyler's mother just appears only when it's some sort of dance or council meeting. That's weird too. I do love Tyler, Jeremy and Caroline. Yet, Caroline use to be a kick ass vampire and was able to kick Damon's butt. Now all of a sudden she can't fight at all. Just my vent right now on the show even though I do love this show so much. Miss my Elijah though.

In the original books there was none of the doppleganger crap. In which book do they mention charlotte? One of the stefans diaries? I have read them all but the latest one.

I also didn't understand why would she run to her car when she could've vamp speed away. But I guess the writers needed Caroline captured once again for the plot. I think Elena passing out also has to do w/ hitting her head/loosing a lot of blood. Also why would they allow her to drink after all that? I thought that was dumb. Can I also add two things that bugged me about last nights episode. Okay one how did Bonnie change her hair and makeup so quickly? And then two when Elena goes back home her house looks fine despite not long ago Klaus made some pretty nasty damage to it with his crazy temper.
