Iam sick of Shane's selfish, over the top antics...it's getting boring.Rick,Dale and Andrea comic characters have been water down because they were trying to keep Shane interesting..I hate that..Good Bye Shane. The Show will do just fine without Shane, the First season did well and Shane didn't do that much in the First Season. He doesn't carry the show.

Posts: 1202 02/26/2012 6:18 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I doubt that Shane will get killed off, he's just as big as the other characters and Jon Branthal seems like he really likes being on the show, so I don't see him leaving it it for a show that might not even happen. I mean, La Noir is interesting, but I don't see it becoming a big hit to be honest. I guess we'll see what happens.

Posts: 54622 02/27/2012 2:11 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	i don't think shane is going anywhere anytime soon. rick is a damn fool for going back and saving him, though. the one thing i agree with shane on is that rick can be too soft at times. he is a very moral and compassionate person, but unfortunately, those qualities weaken his judgement sometimes. shane, however, is on the total opposite end of the spectrum...selfish, cold and rash. i wouldn't feel safe with him either b/c he's a ticking time bomb.

I was torn between Andrea and Lori...I think they both made valid points, as far as their roles in this world and the whole suicide issue. Anyone else think Shane infected himself when he cut himself with the same knife he had just used on a zombie? The fact that he specifically noticed that that man wasn't bitten made me wonder, is the virus is changing. And I remember them being so careful about not getting zombie blood on them before and now they're willy nilly about it.

Nope nobody did, but it seems to be headed in that direction.I guess I should Say HOPE instead of IS but....There has been ALOT of buzz about Shane's fate considering the LA Noir audition...why audition if your staying? I think most people believe he is leaving at some point..look at his behavior, he is getting worst by the episode. Then you have Lori telling Rick he is dangerous, the fight this week... Posts: 13053 02/27/2012 4:18 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	About the zombie stuff (from the novel, etc)...: Spoiler [+] Soo with the 'type' of zombie they are, EVERYONE gets reanimated no matter how they die unless the brain is destroyed (like they do to finally off a walker). A bite/scratch just causes the sickness that kills the person (who then reanimates quickly). And zombie blood/body fluid isn't fatal. I was hopeful that by pointing out the guards only had scratches is a hint they'll be figuring that out. There's also been some rather long discussions about why the people on the freeway (in the beginning of the season) didn't reanimate, lol, with some good theories. Shane's hand has also been discussed but the 'ruling' is he's fine unless the show is going to, once again, contradict itself in a rather major way.

But I do think the virus is changing, mutating so that it becomes airborne. They had Shane notice the lack of bites on that zombie for a reason. I'm thinking this is gonna be a big cliffhanger. I thought it was hilarious when Rick left Shane in the bus. I wonder how he liked a taste of his own medicine. Not so fun being the one left behind, eh Shane? Also, I laughed out loud when Rick saw the 2 guards together and was like "Awwww! Just like me and Shane!!! I gotta go get him!" I have to admit, when Rick and Shane started fighting there, I couldn't help but think, "Really?! If you cause a commotion, they will come!" And they did! And I also love the field zombie scene, too. I also find it ridiculous when people complain about not seeing zombies for a few episodes. While yes the show is about a zombie apocolypse, life is so much more complicated than people just eating your face off. I really appreciate seeing how people react and deal with difficult situations.

Posts: 4498 02/28/2012 3:17 PM Untitle-worthy '12 Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Yeah I really loved that final scene with Shane looking out at the lone walker, and "Civilian" is playing (I first heard that song in TWD season 2 previews and have been obsessed with it since so it was a nice surprise to see it actually used on the show) I like Randall so far. I feel bad that he was rescued - so painfully at that - only to be dropped off a week later to basically become walker chow. But I'm glad that didn't happen. Also, the actor who plays him was so awkward on The Talking Dead Speaking of The Talking Dead, I hate how long we have to wait to watch them now. Edited By: Little Lassy 02/28/2012 3:19 PM.
