He's obsessed with power & got exactly what he wanted. The question is who will kill him. The guys don't have that kind of power, unless there's a weakness Godly Cas has & they find out about it. Sucky thing is I started thinking about how they were duped again, just like Ruby duped them (although Dean was funny about her from the start). They need to stop being so trusting.

Come on JayneOC, just because the show ignored some of Sam's stuff it doesn't mean they should mess up all the other characters so that it would be fair I think Castiel's character, just like Sam and Dean, started out as a good guy with good intentions and then he made some mistakes and here he is. He deserves to get his ass kicked at this point, but like the Winchesters he should have his redemption too.

I think his vessel is going to explode not being able to hold all of the souls and Death will come in and "reap" him when the time is right. To me this would be the most logical and obvious way since... Well... Jimmy was just a vessel! Who the hell ever said that he was anything special? If that other vessel couldn't hold Lucifer for that long I don't see how the hell Jimmy would be able to hold a billion souls. Even if he was able to redeem himself somehow there's no way he'll survive after this.

Honestly if Cas is God, he wouldn't need to be in human form anymore anyway. He was only like that because Dean couldn't hear him speak.

The cast department does a great job, because most of the guest stars have all held their own with Jensen and Jared and Jim. That can't be easy to do.

Death and Alastair #2 are by far (to me anyway) the best guest actors to ever be on the show. Perfect roles. I also loved, LOVED Mark Pelligrino as Lucifer. I didn't think about Cas in terms of Jimmy's vessel and not being able to hold all the souls, good point. To me, Cas has taken a similar journey as Sam, and I don't want him to be killed off just so his story can be over. He deserves a good ending and one that makes sense. Everything Cas was doing, he thought he was doing the right thing so he could save people, much like Sam. I'm not saying Cas shouldn't die, or his time isn't up, I just hope it's done in a good way. Hope he goes out better than what Samuel & Rufus got.

I don't know why I assumed everyone else had as well or I would have posted it. I also COMPLETELY agree about the casting. Their casting department needs an award of some sort because they have done an absolutely amazing job. There have only been a few people I didn't like in a role, but they were mostly second hand so that could have played a part. Gen, for instance----bless her soul she seems like the sweetest thing ever----but I hated her as Ruby. That was a complete fail in every way. Katie did such a good job though, she had sass, she was a bitch but at the same time you wanted to trust her etc. Gen just seemed so... soft. Just bleh. I always had a really hard time imaging her as "Ruby", it was easier for me to just think of her as another demon entirely. 99% of their casting though has been so unbelievably spot on it's nuts. Especially Death who is literally one of my favorite characters ever. He's had, what? A few minutes of screen time. But he was that good. I LOVE Death! I can't wait to see him back. His intro is one of the best intros of all time though IMO, which I'm sure is why I love him so much. I literally rewind that part just to see it again and again. The song, the car, walking down the street with his pimp cane, the man running into him and him brushing him off... Bam, death. It was SO PERFECT and bad ass! It described who he was as a horseman in 10 seconds and that is not an easy feat when introducing anything let alone an entire character.

Gah, I agree with everything you said up there. When I talk about this show and why season 5 was my favorite, I always show people that intro. Death means business. Sidenote: I also love when Lucifer was making Death rise, or however you would say that, and he goes, "Oh Helllllooooooo Death." Gen. Oof. I thought she did a great job playing a version of herself though! Loved Rufus, loved Chuck, and ofcourse the Yellow Eyed Demon did a damn good job--seeing that he was practically blind the whole time. I also thought Tessa was a great casting choice.

I actually downloaded that song as soon as I saw that and listened to it for like an hour straight I loved it so much. It's just perfect. Oooooh man don't get me started on Gordon. I do think it was good casting though, I just HATED HIM. I HATED him SO MUCH. He was such a delusional asshole fuck hunter, but the actor portrayed that perfectly. Too well actually. His Jesus freak friend was annoying too but again he was good; not exactly a major character though so I don't even really think of him playing off of the Winchesters or anything. It's so hard to name off all of the "major" characters that have popped up that were perfect because there were so many. At the time I couldn't even begin to name them but you're totally right; Rufus, Azazel, Chuck, Lucifer... The Ghostbusters, Balthazar (I will hate Cas forever for that), Crowley... There are so many minor/major characters that were just perfectly cast. Ash! How could I forget Ash. Even that fucking douchebag Zachariah----he was so perfect in all his douchery. Speaking of him, I thought Rafael was great too. Actually, now that I'm thinking of it this past season there were two that I thought were off: Eve and Faith. Both those actresses were really bleh for being such bad ass characters. But again, out of 6 seasons they've done a great job.

Even they know how magnificent Buffy is. I seriously cannot wait to see this... The little girl in me that's grown up doesn't want to admit it, but omfg Cordelia and SPIKE (who I fucking LOVED) are together... on a show I love. I'm squeeing on the inside. SOMUCH. It makes me want to buy all of the Buffy DVD's and have a reunion. I literally fucking grew up on Buffy, it holds a special place in my heart, but I have not seen it since it was on air.
