Hair that long grosses me out too. Sorry, but it's not the Middle Ages and you don't live in Middle-earth. Waist length hair and longer is just not attractive imo. Mid-back is long enough and that's only if your hair is thick and healthy. Long, thin, stringy looking hair is the worst and when the ends are all ratty it repulses me.

Hair always seems to grow so slow when you want it longer.
