What is your idea of the perfect length of hair?

The longest I have ever had my hair is bra strap length. I have never really wanted long hair before. And of course, now that I have a bob I want to grow my hair super long. I would like hair down to my waist or hips. For you, how long is too long?

I used to have waist length hair. NEVER again! Mid-back is the longest I'd ever do. Maybe a couple inches below arm pits.

Well the average growth is 1/2 an inch a month. So, if that is you, it would take a year without trims.

My hair looks JUST like the first and second pictures just thicker and brown.

When I straighten it its ridiculously long.
Sometimes old people stop me at the store or mall and touch my hair.

lucy hale from pretty little liars has nice hair, my hair use to be really thick it has thinned out way to much. how do i fix it, mum thinks its the tablets im on thinning it out

I look wretched and worn out with long hair. Not everyone has the face for it, for sure. As far as perfect length. I don't have one because my hair has changed & I've had to adapt to those changes.

I prefer short-to-medium length hair, I think it's universally flattering. I had really long hair when I was in high school and I loved it then, but it was a lot of upkeep and I feel as I got older it just made me look to young. Now, on myself and on others, I just prefer shorter hair, the longest I will let mine get now is mid-back and even then it's sometimes more upkeep than I want.

I've been growing my hair out as well for the past ten years and the longest layer is down to my bra strap. I want to get the shortest layer (barely dusting my shoulder) to the top of my boob or maybe just below. Trying to guess as to when the short layer will finally get there. My hair is insanely thick and curly so it takes a while.

I have heard castor oil helps. I don't know. There is a forum called Long Hair Community. They have a lot of good information.

I'm jealous. Tell me about your routine please. Do you oil your hair, use heat products, etc.
