I just got my Iphone today from Verizon and I'm happy about that. However, I ordered the 32GB phone for $299.99 and I was charged a total of $373.11
The reason for this, I just found out, is because in California, there is a law that if you buy a phone at any kind of discounted rate, you will still be charged the tax for the retail price of the device. So because the Iphone is listed as $749.99, I was charged over $70 in taxes. I did NOT know this. Suck it, California.
