So I think I'm developing a crush on this guy at work, but...I don't find him physically attractive at all. I absolutely love talking to him, and we really click on some level. However.

Attraction isn't something I can really just overlook. Has anyone been through this before? This is really uncharted territory for me.

God I hope you're not the 19 year old girl where I work who is so desperately infatuated with a guy who is 10 years older than her and in a relationship. She's such a hot mess

I've actually went through this with a co-worker recently. Unfortunately, he had his friend ask me if I was interested and I didn't really answer because I was still undecided on what I felt.

Now he's kind of avoiding me out of awkwardness.

It's such a weird sensation! To be so into a person in every single way and feel some kind of spark, but not enjoy looking at them.

The first guy I fell in love with I wasn't attracted to him initially at all...like, at all. He was actually my boss. When he first met me apparently he told everybody that he was going to end up dating me one day and everybody laughed at him. He wasn't ugly...he was just really pretty overweight, but you could tell he'd be a good looking dude if he just lost like...150 lbs.

Anyways, we began spending time together as friends, one thing lead to another and we were together for a while. After a certain amount of time he actually become really attractive to me. He always used to make comments about how different we looked and how I could date somebody more attractive and I used to tell him that he looked like Justin Timberlake to me!

This is SO true! I met my (now)husband in college and I remember the 1st day of classes my friend asked if their were any "hot" guys in my class I was like, meh. But we ended up partnering together and he was/is so funny, intelligent and nice. Makes him one of the most handsome men in the world to me

That's the way it usually works for me. I consider it more meaningful because you know the relationship isn't based on looks/sex because that part of the attraction came later.
