I think they were trying for sort of a period/classic look on Sherlock for her but like y'all said, it just made her look older. Too bad because I've seen her au naturel in pics and she is stunning.

I enjoying discussing our different opinions in this thread. It's very mature and intelligent. It never disintegrates into name-calling,vicious personal attacks, etc like in some other posts.

Btw, Random Sandwiches, when I talk about behind the curtain, I actually was referring more to interviews(tv/print/online). I think those show more of the creators' personality. Those almost always shatter any illusion, .

I don't mind another WA appearance as long as it would be more akin to their first episode where it was really terrifying and well-done. If not, I agree, just move on.

As for the new companion, she is a cutie and am extremely jealous of her because she not only gets to play with Matt, Godtiss, and Moffat---she is also is going out with Richard Madden---the HOT Rob Stark of Game Of Thrones! Seriously though, a part of me is already wondering what Moffat is going to put her in and it's cracking me, knowing the kind of lad he is, . Can't do the short skirts anymore because that's Amy's schtick. Can't really do plunging necklines since DW is still a kids' show. Although, I must say, she has an enviable, ample bosom, .

Duhawkgrl! Did you see Lewis' latest episode? I think I missed a part and maybe you can explain it to me. You know the man whose boss wanted to swing with him and his wife? Remember how it was confirmed that he didn't really park up the driveway? Then he shows up at the police station with his lawyer? What the crap was that about? Where was he and what was he hiding?  

Thanks Duhawkgrl! I thought I was going nuts, even went back to the scenes to see what was going on. It's not like I was watching PBS and it would be edited too. Glad I was not alone in thinking that something was missing.

Oh yes, Hathaway in the coat, ! Especially at the end, it really suits me. The only thing though, when he was walking with Lewis at the end, I couldn't help but notice how skinny his slacks were compared to Lewis, . Oh well, I LOVE the lanky ones anyway.

As for Moffat, I think everyone here is in agreement, INCLUDING myself, that Moffat is an arrogant egomaniac, . He's a jerk, . He's famous for it. Every fan and every critic(professional and otherwise) know that. I, a fan, have never denied that here. As long as he doesn't become a Polanski or a Michael Bay, I will continue watching his brilliant works such as Sherlock and DW---and I will continue reading/watching him open his mouth---to a minimum---, as always to keep from getting aggravated by his large ego. That is all.
